Seems easier than playing in -30 weather with snow on the ice.
If I was a player I'd prefer colder. Even when playing in junior, there were some rinks that were warmer and you could feel the difference (cardio wise) even if it was only a couple of degrees. I can't imagine playing when it's 18 degrees outside.
Our team could learn a thing or two about the ducks D system. Yes the kings are offensively challenged but that's how an elite team can defend. Stache should tape this and show the team that's how to defend if you hope to contend for the cup. Hiller was solid but most of the shots were easy saves and the ducks were willing to just sit back anyways.
Anyone watching the pregame show for the Rangers-Devils game? They showed an amazing video of Kreider literally jumping out of a swimming pool onto the ledge. Imagine being able to jump a good 4-5 feet up against water resistance. Holy crap, the leg strength!
