By the ****ing way, I played on some pretty bad teams in hockey, and I NEVER gave up this way. This angers me, because all I got was a lousy per diem. They're millionaires pouting because they don't like their coach.
Well okay, I've been there. But still, you are MILLIONAIRES playing in front of a sold-out audience in the NHL.
Is the team coached/managed well? Not really. Too many players playing out of position, on the wrong side on the D, players mismanaged in their play time, players not punished when they go on long cold streaks and players who produce getting punished IMMEDIATELY when they **** up. Calling up a nice guy like Nattinen and have him play 1:30 in what could be his only NHL game. TAKING CREDIT for the players' success without mentionning THEIR hard work, jerking top guys around on money while you sign scrubs to big money without thinking about it. Not doing anything to fix the imbalances on our team: we have too many D playing the same side, and too many centers.
Running what looks like to be a gong show in Hamilton that had a player leaving saying there's no system down there.
I could go on and on.
But as much as you may hate this, don't take it out on the fans. There are people out there that only have the Habs in their lives and little kids who consider them their heroes. Those people had a ****** saturday night.
