Rangers Prospect Development Camp

http://www.newyorkrangers.com/pressb...es.asp?id=1679

NYR holding a week long camp for the prospects.

http://www.newyorkrangers.com/team/p...p05/roster.asp

There's the rosters. I *really* hope that Roy number 60 is Mathieu Roy. Other FA's like Mior, Rodney, Sparre, Flood and Jarrett(that is if its Pat) seem interesting.

I like that we have a good amount of our own there too. Its nice to see Cliche and Sauer should be taking the ice. Maybe some of these guys get contracts after playing well and showing something at this camp.

Out of all of those prospects I look Foward to seeing Graham the most with Staal right behind followed by Callahan.

Doubt it, the rink would only be able to hold about 40 spectators. There isnt any stands in it.

I would love to see Colby Genoway, Pat Jarrett, and Mathieu Roy all signed. Flood would be a nice addition as well.

Pat Jarrett, assuming its him, was a former #1 overall OHL pick. Kid had a heart problem, missed a whole year, and then fell to the 5th round for Nashville who didn't sign him. He has a decent amount of talent and put in a solid year but wasn't signed.

Flood is a defenseman who used to be in Montreal's system. Put in a solid year but then asked for more money than he was worth and wasn't signed. Should be a lock for a 5/6 d-man in the future,b ut nothing really more.

Mathieu Roy is a solid third liner, two way guy with a decent scoring upside who somehow went undrafted this year and suprised the hell out of al ot of people with that.

I doubt the Rangers will sign any of them. Remember when Sather signed Jeff State, Matt Kinch and Barrett Heisten. Those 3 turned out to be great. Great scouting Sather.

Gherson might be a good pick-up, too.

i dont regret any of those three. it was worth a shot and didnt cost us nothin. I liked Barrett even since before NY took him, too.

Mathieu Roy got NHL 2nd line upside no doubt.
He is much more offensively gifted than his stats showed on a weak team without any legit centerman.
He is also gritty and is a good skater.
I wish him well and he would be a very good signing for you guys, and very cheap also. He would be worth every penny of it.

I hope Sather signs him. I like this sound of his game so far.

If it indeed is the Patrick Jarrett that we are all thinking of, these are his stats
