Go Ducks!
They're a trap fest, especially with all their injuries. The swap from Harding to Kuemper made no difference, just like the Kings with Quick/Jones/Scrivens.

They're fast, though. And not big. They're like the smaller, quicker Kings.

edit - didn't see Lapa's post. Glad we're all on the same page.

And younger. Were down to three injuries.

Some people on that board don't know much. Some don't know even know important facts about the wild.

We're only two players away from being less than impressive!

Yep, good point. You can be you for longer than the Kings can be the Kings.

I'm sad to see Parise back tonight. I'm amazed that Charlie Coyle is your 1C. Did he take a step forward or is that just where you are at center without Koivu?

We're in a bit of a scoring slump since the 9-1 game. That's a matter of perspective - if we were the Kings we'd be rolling in goals. But hey.

Personally, I would prefer Coyle as 3C when Koivu returns. Coyle has been good recently, but he needs to be better in faceoffs. Right now, Granlund is the better player of the two, both offensively and defensively IMO.

Here's to our non-impressive team winning. Honestly what does our team have to do to be considered impressive?

I love when other fans who obviously know nothing about the Ducks comment on the lack of depth.......or secondary scoring......or terrible defense corps.

I guess being the 2nd highest scoring team in hockey is solely based on the play of 2 players. So since Minn scores LESS than the anti goal scoring queens, does that mean they don't even have 2 decent players?

Yeah I laughed at that. I guess if your other 9 forwards aren't scoring at PPG pace, then they are bad.

I still don't understand why Minny hate us, is it because of the playoffs? I don't really care about them myself, seems a 1 sided rivalry.

May on Johnsson, Perry on Coyle. 2003 and 2007. I'd hate us if I were them.

Coyle has been a little disappointment to me, he had a great traingin camp, but he hasn't been the same after his injury.

IMO Granlund is our 1C right now, he take most of the big draws and he plays a better overall game than Coyle and Granlund plays PP on top unit..

I know this year there is a lot of bitterness over the stadium series. They just seem to hate hockey in California in general. It taints their precious sport.

Not all wild fans thinks this. If anything people think the wild have only one line that can score.

Eh, I dunno. I guess 2003 is a gripe given teams were similar, but they weren't really close to our level in 2007, I wouldn't really of been mad to lose in that matchup if the roles were reversed.

I don't really hate Nashville anymore after our playoff matchup, and that was a really heated match up, maybe even more so then any matchup v Minnesota.

Sbisa in...needs to be paired with Lindholm/Vatanen/Fowler and try him out...he needs to be able to simplify his game and prove he can play solid if not he is on the way out. He needs to play a Fristic type game but he can be even better due to his physical skills.

would like something like
Fowler/Lovejoy
Beauchemin/Fristic
Lindholm/Sbisa

or if they want to experiment for a game or 2 and see what he can do with a PMD so he can simplify his game

Lindholm/Beauchemin
Fowler/Sbisa
Allen/Lovejoy
