Since the day the last Olympics finished, regular season. (player with 250+ points, inc games tonight that have ended):

St. Louis: 308 points in 280 games
Stamkos: 293 points in 250 games
H. Sedin: 292 points in 283 games
D. Sedin: 282 points in 275 games
Ovechkin: 281 points in 272 games
Giroux: 279 points in 283 games
Tavares: 279 points in 283 games

Kessel: 267 points in 288 games
Crosby: 264 points in 172 games
Zetterberg: 263 points in 269 games
Staal: 263 points in 281 games
Thornton: 256 points in 280 games
Getzlaf: 250 points in 253 games
Kopitar: 250 points in 279 games

Pretty sure they mean for Team Canada / Canadian born players.

Would love to see that hit by Grossmann in the third period again. I don't think they showed a replay of it.

Yeah, they were referencing Team Canada eligible players since they were shoving the whole St. Louis and Giroux "snubs" down Yzerman's throat. Not sure if that changes the stats much, but whatever.

I still think they were referencing from 10-11, due to how they were stating how close G was to catching Stamkos. 14 points away, he is not catching him before he comes back.

But yeh, either way you slice it 1st and 3rd highest scoring Canadians since the last Olympics.

Berube went back to the major combos that worked they had a solid game. The line chemistries are good. Just roll with it. Coots line did well in the shut down role. Downie was better.

Just got home from the game. Pretty awesome. Love seeing the first line clicking and Gus is great.

When did Kimmo get hurt? I didn't even notice he was out. Hope it's nothing serious.

There's info in the first post.

He blocked a shot with 5:48 left in the first period.

Thanks!

I don't know what the score was when he left...maybe they took him out as a precaution. He's too important for us to lose.

Yeah, he hammered that POS Adelkader. Loved it. Clean hit along, not into, the boards.

He played following being hit. The shifts were 12 in the first and 5 in the second. It could be precautionary given the score and the necessity to have him ready for the road trip.

It was even better live. He nailed him!

Luke Schenn's hip check was also pretty awesome.

Coburn had a pretty week game from what I saw in the crowd. A few mental lapses and not moving the puck quick enough. He's really the only guy I think that had a bad game.

Mark Streit logged 25 minutes of ice time tonight.

I just looked at the fancy stats for tonight. Steve Downie was our worst Corsi 5 on 5. Hopefully Raffl gets put back with Couts and Read next game.

Raffl should have a permanent home on that 3rd line. He has the two-way play, speed and his limited production could be improved if Read and Couts come around too.

I'm a huge fan of Gustafsson. I also love when Mark Streit is used like he was tonight in a highly offensive role.

Just a solid game tonight. Enjoyed watching. Hartnell-G-Voracek looked really nice out there when they weren't forcing things and even Vinny has some decent looks and opportunities. Good game for Mason, too.

Yeah I'm hoping to see a replay of Luke's hit, it was a real beauty.

Great game. The Gus/Schenn pairing is great together, I know it's been said a million times already in this thread but it's painfully obvious Gus is better then Mez and Luke is light years better with Gus as his d partner.

Random observation from tonight's game:

Darren Helm is really FAST.

Not sure what's up with Downie... ever since his injury he just hasn't been any use out there, looks lost.

Blocked a shot in the first period. He took 8 more shifts after and then left.I think it 3-0 at the time, so it may have been a precautionary thing.

Shutout!

Regardless of who was on the other team, the Flyers still played with more energy and determination than they have the past few games. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Also, I think that was the most odd man rushes I've seen for the Flyers in quite some time. It's nice to see.
