It looks like we're going to be at 8 teams this year. Everyone's team will be loaded.

The current draft time is 1pm Pacific on Saturday, March 8th (I just picked a random time since I had to when making the league). Does that work for everyone?

And would you guys like a weekly move limit or a move limit for the year? For a weekly limit, I was thinking 5, and for the year, I was thinking 60 or so. Let me know your thoughts.

There are like 24 or so weeks in a baseball season. If we were to do per week or per season; 5 per week or 120 for the season. Otherwise, 60 for the season, really turns out to be about 2.5 moves per week and that is certainly not enough.

The maximum that Yahoo allows for a yearly limit is 100 for what it's worth.

It's better than some of the football teams I've been on where the waiver wire was meaningless. There is also still a week and a half to sign up.

The draft is Saturday at 1pm Pacific. It's kinda too late to change it since the season starts in about two weeks, and (selfishly) I have a lot of drafts scheduled for the next two weekends.

I decided to have four teams make the playoffs (since there are only eight teams). Also, I've decided to have a weekly move limit rather than a yearly one. I haven't decided how many, although it will probably be around 5-7 per week.

I will use a draft order tool to determine the draft order ahead of time. It will be posted in the opening post once I do that.

Let me know if you have any questions/concerns/etc.

I used draftpicklottery.com to determine the draft order (sorry, I do not know how to post an image, so you'll just have to believe me). The league is locked at 8 teams, so everyone will have a stacked team. I may add an extra roster spot or two since the league is so shallow. I haven't decided yet.

Less than 12 hours until the draft! I look forward to talking baseball with all of you.

And I decided against adding an extra roster spot or two. 26 spots (times 8 teams is 208 players owned not including DL spots) are enough.

I'm sorry guys that I missed the draft today. I didn't forget about it but one of our dogs was having seizures all morning and passed away this afternoon so needless to say it's been one of those days.

Ugh... I'm sorry.

I'm still extremely upset over my dog that passed away in August. I know how it feels.

So happy there are 3 DL spots, since I have 3 players on DL to start the season. Last year I had major injury trouble, so hopefully I can bounce back.

So i have a question... since i've never used yahoo for fantasy before. Can you preset different lineups for different days ahead of time? I havent figured out how to do that yet over there...

Yes! If you click ahead to the next day where the date is on the top, you can set the line up for each day. The only bad thing is if you make any lineup changes, your setup will be reset (at least that's the way it's been).

If you add a player, your future lineups will reset.
