Well here's no shock to all of us

I'm really trying to not get my hopes up on ROR, which is more of a possibility with the team taking him to Team Eligible Arbitration

In the last 16 months or so, we have added Jones, Forsberg, Jarnkrok, and Fiala as prospects, not to mention guys like Neal and MDZ (if we keep him). I'm overal happier with Poile than I have been in awhile.

It's hard to argue we aren't in a better position now than we were 2 years ago, that's for sure.

Anyone in the AHL play like that? I don't know their styles that well.

Sissons? Watson? Salomaki?

Borque needs to learn that role if he wants to keep an NHL job.

Bourque did great in that role when Hornqvist was out, scored 11 goals in that half season.

Cooper really thinks he's clever. I stopped paying attention to him completely. He has literally zero insight into the team, when I read things written by other beat writers I feel like we are really being shafted.

Watson is a player that plays a lot in front of the net. Watching him in Milwaukee he was in front of the net battling and deflecting pucks in front of the net. He is a bigger body and can take the punishment. He seems like a combo of Horny and Spaling. Like Horny plays in front of the net and like Spaling good defensively and on the PK.

As dumb as the comment that Cooper made about Legwand and as little as Legwand probably has left, would it be terrible if he came back? Not saying he should be the center for Neal, I still think Stastny is the answer, would that depth hurt and having a new system for Leggy, would that hurt as well? He likes the city and could be an interesting piece to be honest. I'd rather have him than VLC at this point.

As much as I don't really want him back due to the aging factor, I will say I do agree with this part. Legwand seems more durable.

I wouldn't hate bringing legwand back on a sweethart deal for center depth, but with Fish/Jarnkrok/Wilson/Gaustad And presumably us bringing in Statsny or though I don't believe it, Spezza, I don't see room for him much.

I am somewhat pro-Legwand only because it would make the Jarnkrok trade that much funnier. Not really sure that he has a spot here anymore, but it would be a hell of a troll job.

I unfollowed as well. He has no insight, no passion. His pieces read like a press release with no analysis. His in game tweets chirp our fans and city.

He has to be the worst beat writer in the league

I don't view Cooper as a beat writer. He's a reporter to me. With that in mind he does just fine. Just report the facts and I'll do my own analysis.

I'd be curious only to see him in a new System. LOL sign him & VLC give them equal time for scientific comparison

Good article about players production numbers in Nashville vs other teams.

It's worth noting that the three examples they use (Fisher, Kostitsyn, Erat) were given top line minutes here and not with their other teams. I'm not shocked that all three put up careers numbers here since they had more ice time with better (probably...) linemates.

Still, I agree with it's point. Playing here doesn't magically suck offense out of players.
