We've been pretty lucky. Teams still get golden scoring chances against us, but they haven't buried them. They will start doing so again, and we will have another losing streak. Up and down we go.

One of my former housemates took her iPhone into the bathtub regularly.

I called her a moron regularly. Surprised she never dropped it into the water or anything.

Yea i've seen that a lot lately. It used to motivate him, now it does the opposite.

DD had a nice game.

Man though...Bourque, jeez man he was pissing me off. I ****ing hate that lazy *******. How many times did he mess up a play with Eller carrying the puck up the middle because he just stood there watching? I mean, come on, move your damn feet.

Subban and Edwards

I know others mentioned it in the GDT/PGT already, but Jack Edwards was a special level of ****** tonight, even for him. so many subtle jabs at the Habs, and Subban in particular

- "Norris voters, take note" when Subban took a penalty
- referring to Subban as the Norris winner "in a shortened season"
- and what is the deal with his pronunciation of Subban? he pronounces the second syllable like the sound in "on", as in Sub-bahn, when everyone remotely interested in NHL hockey knows its Sub-ban, as in "Ann". I mean come on, PK has been in the spotlight for like 3 years now, everyone knows how to pronounce his name!

so passive-aggressive! seriously, this guy is such a troll and it's working on me.

anyways, eat it Bruins. 2-0 on the year.

Yeah he's a lazy ***** and every GM in the league knows it. Too bad they couldn't unload him for something we could use. So happy we beat those Bruins though.

He had a couple frustrating shifts but I thought he played a decent game. He probably has another 2 good games in him before he disappears for 10 games.

In other words, move him MB.

Maybe DD could start bring it like Lars who is on a stellar 12 game zero points streak. A minus 10 to boot. Last 25 gamesw for #81....3 points -13.
I'm not sure, but I think they're referring to Bourque...

DD with one of his best games. He could have had 2 goals on top of that.

Moen, Emelin, Beaulieu, Murray, Gally and Patches were excellent.

The rest were very good. It sucks to see Briere's obvious talent (not just scoring, but puck control and passing) go to waste. I mean, we're missing Chucky...this would be, you'd think, the time for Briere to get lots of ice time and not sit on the 4th line. As for Bourque, I legit think he is trying and doing a decent job -- it's just not going his way. Eller looked pretty good, except for the one giveaway that resulted in his penalty. Always picks it up against Toronto and Boston.

Prust has been making some weak plays, but he also makes up for it with a good forecheck, so I'll give him a pass.

I don't think Subban is playing badly. He gets lots of attention, is the focus of the other team's strategy and he's adapted to it IMO. Puck gets put in deep, he gets to it, shields it and comes out with it (puck bounced on him when he took that penalty). Often, the forward that he chips it to is unable to handle it and that's when it seems like it was Subban. He's changed his play to be more conservative for sure, but that's all coaching. I think all we're seeing is Subban not single handedly carrying the team's attack, so it looks worse in comparison. I'm fine with the way he's playing so long as the rest of the team plays the way it did the last two games. (Moreso in the boston game.)

We really need to use tonight as a model for how to play. The gap control was mostly spot on and the counter attack was a major focus. Plus we did finally play a 5 man unit game with some solid defensive hockey all round.

I wonder how Kreijci feels about Pleks being his captain. Didn't the former say that he hates Pleky during the last playoff meeting?

Congrats on the win. Very well executed gameplan by MTL. Funny though that in a statement game like this price is nowhere to be found. Im so used to his supporters saying the habs lose 10-1 every game he is not in there. My 2 cents, the habs are a contender, trade the pre madonna for a big top 6 center and go for the cup.

Thanks! Except for you saying we played a good game, I don't think anything else you said is true in this post. No offense.

Anyone have a vid of Emelin's hit on Lucic?
