Ceremony always has the worst avatars in these forums.

I'm now in 2nd place, at 43 points. Tied with 1st place team and 5 points ahead of 3rd placed team ..... so of course, my best player gets injured for 3 months. Typical FM. We don't make any revenue because our stadium has a capacity of 8,600 and my board won't build me a new stadium because we never get any money.

Arguing with 20 year old girls who know the world is beyond hilarious. Especially when they lived in CO their whole lives.

Not trying to degrade women overall by any means.

I did absolutely zero homework this weekend except finish a chapter in reading. I got sosososososo damn much to do on Monday, but it was worth it.

I went to Sushi Katsu with my friend
Went to the mall
Played some basketball
Caught up with the hockey today
Had Chipotle's (needed to include this to make JWK jealous)
Then watched B2B movies; Bulletproof Monk (seriously one of my favourite movies as I mentioned before) and Iron Man 3 (Surprisingly decent and pretty damn hilarious).

I'm handing my two weeks in on Tuesday... hoping they walk me out the door (they have to pay me out).

So...

I've been wanting to watch Breaking Bad for a while now, just wanted to include my GF since we're both always looking for shows to watch together (especially since we both have shows that we like but the other one doesn't). We need to get caught up on the current season of Walking Dead and Sherlock (haven't seen any episodes of either of them) and Game of Thrones and True Blood are a little ways off.

So I finally got her to agree to watch it, since I kept hearing good things about it (and from a lot of people I see and talk to outside of HF who kept recommending it).

Completely blown away!

We blasted through the first and second seasons and are now in the middle of the 3rd season (probably approaching the back half) and it's everything I thought it would be and more!

As I was remarking to her, it seems that a lot of these shows with the Main Character being an "Anti-Hero" are popular. "24" (Jack Bauer) and "Dexter" (Dexter Morgan) immediately come to mind. Shows where you're rooting for the main character despite their obvious short-comings and flaws.

Breaking Bad is obviously no different, but I am already seeing that the path Walter White is on will be far different than that of Bauer and Dexter.

Can't wait to see how it all ends! (and yes, I actually DON'T know how it ends at all, please no spoilers or the consequences will be severe)

Breaking Bad is in it's own tier, simply an amazing show. With TWD and GoT right behind it.

I've heard good things about that show too but have yet to watch any. So many good shows out there but so little time.

I won't comment on "tiers" or anything of the like, but I agree that it's fantastic. And freely admit that most of my favorite shows tend to have lead characters who I want to succeed despite having deep, troublesome flaws.

Best shows right now Suits/Madmen. GOAT show is sopranos. Nothing compares to these shows.

About to watch the new episode of The Walking Dead, hopefully it doesn't suck as bad as the last one.

I thought Breaking bad was good but a bit slow for the first two seasons. After that the storytelling really got going and seasons four and five are amazing. Best show since The Wire.

Gotta agree with you there.

I was at Copper Kettle Brewery last night and I guess on Sunday night's they all watch Walking Dead. It was the first time I saw the show. The bloody scenes just looked incredibly fake to me and the TV show + the audience there at the bar just reminded me of a LARP festival. Not my thing.

The first season was slow and less interesting but I wouldn't change anything about it. It would be too unrealistic if the stage was set right from the beginning.
