I'm wrapping up booking my bachelor party to Denver(March 29/Sharks). I'm thrilled. The rest of the group, maybe not so much. Mostly southern guys. Few of my friends are hockey people. To their credit, they have bought Avs gear or have asked to wear one of my jerseys. I can't wait. I haven't been to Denver since 2011.

So excited.

We'll try to hit a few breweries, but other than that we'll just play it by ear. I'm a 90's bandwagoner that never fell off, so I'm not really familiar with Denver. I've been a few times since I've been old enough to pay my own way, but still not entirely sure what I'm doing.

If you are here until the 4th I'd suggest the Rockies home opener. Amazing atmosphere downtown. Will probably be like that opening day though they will be on the road, great bar scene around Coors Field. I'd suggest to go to an Avs practice if you've never done that. Open to the public and it's cool to see them up close plus they sometimes stop for autographs while leaving. Red Rocks is a must in my mind as well.

Where are the avs practices? We get there pretty early Friday morning. We might be able to make one.

Led Zep (but I personally like Floyd a little more than Zep).

I got The Beatles. I don't listen to the Beatles. I don't listen to any of the bands people are getting.

I wanted Black Sabbath. Don't know if they're even an option, though.

EDIT: Yes, Sabbath is an option.

You got: Black Sabbath

You’re a bit strange, but that’s obviously a good thing. Your fringe personality keeps the gods in the heavens and the monsters locked underneath everyone’s bed. Bats and doves are no match for your greatness. Keep on rocking, you’re the sage of classical rock.

There were options for eating live animals, of course Black Sabbath were an option.

Great Divide is a must if you're doing breweries.
Also Epic and Renegade if you're looking to keep it downtown Denver only.

I get a chance to sign Lucas (yes, that Lucas) for about a million pounds and he signs with a team getting promoted from Serie B for next season

Who needs the Champions League? I get to be in a relegation fight!

You know, I thought he was gonna be good when I had him in one of my video games when he played for the Pirates. Didn't think he was gonna be this good obviously, but still a solid player.

I would kill myself if he ever joined the Red Sox.

A 14 million dollar thirty something player that has only brought all star level value twice in his career?? You can have him.

Lucas for a million? That's crazy.

I did just get GermŠn Pacheco for a 1 million bucks for the transfer deadline (I think his deal was expiring). I wanted this Croatian striker like Adamovejic (something like that) who had the WORST agent in the WORLD. He was currently 2 stars and had the potential for 4 stars. He wanted 150K of salary and the agent wanted 1.6 million bonus. What the ****?

Now Pacheco is the better player and I can train him to become a striker.

In Football Manager, I drafted a couple of guys who have 5-star potential. Does that mean they have the potential to be 5-star players in the MLS or the entire world?

Depends on how good your scouts are for legitimate 5-star potential.

World.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they're based on your team.

Legitimately curious here...

Any chance the FM talk can be moved to the "Football/Soccer" thread?
