after that 2nd period, this was a big win for the boys.

Islanders trucked us, to come out of that period tied 1-1 was huge.

Big effort, big win.

Nice effort in the 3rd. If this is the Marc Staal we get the rest of the way, he needs to be re-upped. Deja vu...Staal was a beast. I've been writing that a lot lately.

Staal was amazing. What a turnaround he's had. Zucc was Zuccing. Hank saved our bacon on more than one occasion, kept us in the game in the second period.

I don't know wtf happened in the 2nd, but the two other periods were great. Love Kreider when he plays with an edge.

Hard fought victory. Looked good in the first, absolutely dead in the second, then came back in the third.

Also starting to see some major differences in ice time between the lines now.

Canīt argue with the stars. Staal might have deserved the second though.

Rangers gonna range... a game where justice wasn't fully served until the third period. I hope to see many more periods like that third period on home ice.

I formally request we continue to wear the Ranger-Wolf Pack jerseys until our first loss in them.

I think the reason Zucc got it was because of the setup for the GWG. Just amazing.

Zucc, Staal, McD, Henrik are the stars (in any order). Kreider, Stralman and Boyle with the honorable mention.

Strals made a LOT of "quiet" plays (he was in front of Nabokov for Brassard's goal for example). Staal has been playing like a beast again. McD has now scored what, three or four goals from shots in his own zone? That's got to be close to a record, haha.

That's all but the knock-out punch to the Isles playoff hopes.

What a game by Marc Staal. Really impressed me.

Boyle had a great game too.

Kinda meh the first two periods, got momentum after the PP and didn't look back.

Great win. Hank saved our bacon in that abomination of a second period.
