We got dominated at times during this game. The difference was Mason. Very good game

Flyers tie a team record with fewest shots on goal in a game -- 13.

Also on December 11, 1990 against Washington.

I reckon G will be at ~85 points by the end of the year...

52 in 51 since his first point of the year.

45 in 41 since his first goal of the year.

32 in his last 26 games.

Only 3 points off the top 10 point scorers now as well.

Simmonds would make a great captain I think. He plays hard, he's good with the press. Dude deserves that A he's got

Could have a good shot at it when Timonen retires after the season.

This is what im thinking. I am also thinking if we want a real shutdown line we can go with Raffl Coots and Hartnell next year once bobby ryan takes over first line duties

Very true. I would give it to him next year when Timonen is gone.

Gus was great this game too, we need more players like him and he better not get benched again. On a scale of 1 to 10 Grossmann sucks so we should trade him for picks and get an AHL player up here (Bourdon, Alt, Manning).

Good goaltending & timely scoring were the keys to today's win.

Mase G Gus Luke and. Night train were gold.

Grossmann could be a stud in the west, watching Regehr openly tackle guys is insane and no calls. Downie was awful, but that goes without saying.

HNIC just said Giroux isn't even a candidate to replace Stamkos, is team Canada really that stupid. Guys like Carter and Hanhuis over G and guys like Seabrook is baffling.

I over 10 yrs on watching CI, those were the dumbest announcers I have ever seem call a game. Made over 20 mistakes I would estimate ?

Gus may be our best D man and he and Luke are the pair I have the most confidence in.

Somebody on here said Stevie Y said during an interview the other day that Giroux was on his short list to call if Stamkos can't go.

Hockey Canada is a joke.

Whatever. Let them think that not taking one of the players in the world is a good idea. Let him rest up.

That would be crazy...

Outproduced everyone not called Crosby, Stamkos or Malkin over the last 3 years.

Outproduced everyone not called Crosby, Stamkos, Malkin or St. Louis so far this decade. (him and Ovie are tied in PPG after tonight in that time.)

2nd most points this decade now as well in the regular season... just went past Stamkos.
