Strombo Interview with Ken Dryden: The Game + Comments on Price and Subban

http://www.cbc.ca/books/2014/02/ken-...adas-game.html

The interview involves the book but all aspects of Ken's life, including his time with the Leafs and politics and what he's doing now. I urge Habs fans to watch the entire interview.

It's 44 minutes long, however if you want to learn about Ken's views on current Habs Price and Subban, go to about minute 33 in the interview.

His take on Price is bang on - perhaps the only Canadien who's career has started off well, dipped, survived in Montreal , and risen to current level. Earlier in the interview he revealed his own experience of the '70's whereby before Bowman would let him know he sucked the night before he would hear it from 50 fans on the way to such coach assessment. Gold.

On his assessment of Subban I expect little argument . I won't spoil it but he said roughly that if he faced PK one on one "I would be more concerned about stopping him than he would be about scoring on me". There's more of course but true respect from a legend.

A worthwhile use of 44 minutes.

P.K. was the only one confident he could score on Dryden. P.K. said he never saw Dryden play though LOL!

Really great interview. I loved listening to him and his views on what's going on.

His take on Price is spot on. Not many people could survive the scrutiny here, his mental toughness will, and should, take us to gold on the 23rd, and a cup somewhere down the line.

About PK, he's right, I can't argue with him.

Dryden always was a brilliant man in ways. Again, he is bang on with Price and Subban
