For Poland it's pretty much the ski jumpers (probably only Stoch this year), Justyna Kowalczyk (cross-country skiing) who have realistic chances to win medals. For those two it would be kind of a disappointment if they didn't win anything - especially for Kowalczyk. Other than that there's a very slim possibility for a couple biathletes (Krystyna Pałka, Monika Hojnisz) to maybe grab a lucky bronze medal if everything works out perfectly. That's it, I think. I don't even know if we have any olympians in disciplines like skiing, ice skating, Nordic combination and so on.

I also don't care about Kowalczyk. Cross-country is extremely boring to watch so there's no way I could get excited about her winning anything. Therefore for me it's all about Kamil Stoch and our Avs to be successful!

Just hoping these Olympics go by without incident. Lots of talk of an attack. Americans told not to display their nationality. Great place.

Varlamov's mask. Looks suitably intimidating.

Obviously looking forward to the hockey but not much else at the winter Olympics. Maybe some skiing and whatever Shaun White is doing.

Summer Olympics are so much better, I'll watch most of that stuff. Swimming, track, gymnastics, basketball, etc. It's all great. Yes, I even watch the men's gymnastics.

Don't know how anyone could find summer better than winter.

I think they were talking about the X-games. They confused me too.

Hockey is my #2 favorite sport to watch in the Winter Games. The #1 is without a doubt short track speed skating. Positively insane stuff goes on there, and it's about the one and only sport on Earth that South Koreans dominate.

All of them are horrible except for Sweden. Russia's might look ok in full pads, but Canada and the United States have horrible designs this year coming off of the last winter Olympics with when both teams looked good.

Steven Bradbury from Australia winning Gold in 2002 is so funny.

I think Dutchy will score a ton of goals and get some of his frustration out of the system.

I love how Apolo Ohno throws himself across the finish line to medal.

Probably the right call. You can't risk your health and your NHL season even for the Olympics.

Aw that's too bad, thought Stamkos would have decided after testing it in a game. Though by the recent reports it didn't sound like he was going to be 100%. Hope the rest helps him. Wonder who will replace him. MSL? Giroux?

That would be nice but who knows how much he'll get to play. Most analysts were predicting he would be the extra forward when the team was announced.

Sucks for Stamkos and Canada. They have to take MSL now, don't they?
