Dying? I imagine how many broken bones I would sustain trying that. Both femurs would go in turn one.

What is insane is the commentators were mentioning that they're already up to 60 MPHs at turn one. The physical momentum and G-forces must be brutal for your body.

Yeah, I am rooting for the USA, then Russia. My mom thinks I am nuts for rooting for Russia, but I think it would be awesome to see them win it. I honestly wouldn't even be hatin' if Russia beat the US in the gold medal match.

Just want to see our guys do well and have a part in their team winning. Doesn't really matter to me which country wins. I don't have a ton of investment in a team that exists for 10 days from a country standpoint though in the moment I guess I do tend to pull for the Americans when it comes down to it. I'm actually pulling for Russia a bit too I guess.

I hope Duchene gets to play and Varly stands on his head. I think Staz and Landy will do well.

It's kind of cool, but odds are one of them will come home with a gold medal.

Canada all the way. Hopefully Duchene gets to play and comes up big with everyone watching.

It's fun to see some in the Edmonton media still talking about Hall not making the team. Oilers fans also going on about how Duchene shouldn't be there. Get over it and just enjoy the games. We all thought EJ deserved to be there but we're not whining about it a month later.

I'd hate to be the one man out if three Avs get medals.

Tim Wharnsby ‏@WharnsbyCBC 2m
Kunitz-Crosby-Carter; Sharp-Toews-Nash, Tavares-Getzlaf-Perry.

Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun 29s
Keith-Weber, Vlasic-Doughty, Bouwmeester-Pietrangelo

Wouldn't be shocked to see Duchene as the 13th-14th forward, since he's been weaker in January than many others.

bergeron has to be close to a lock for 4th line C.

that leaves marleau, benn, duchene and MSL for his wingers. knowing babcock, odds aren't good. he has to really impress there to make it.

The helmet is designed to give/break rather than rebound. It's safer. Given all the stuff I've studied on Biomechanics I'm quite happy they did that too. She could have had a serious concussion rather than just what looked like a 5 second blackout.

Also, the figure skating stuff was amazing. That Russian teenager, wow. And the American Gracie Gold...

Pretty positive that Duchene will be riding the pine with Benn. Babcock will give the vets a chance which is garbage especially since the only reason St Louis is even there is because Stamkos got hurt.

What was the point of putting Duchene on the team if you are not going to use him. He was brought in because his game translates well to big open ice. If you were going to put him on the pine you should have just brought in a player that would be more suited to play a 4th line role, that could have stepped in if there was an injury like a Thornton.

And on another note why in the hell would you not have Tavares at center? He is only the second highest scoring center in the NHL, but lets move him to wing where he never plays. That makes tons of sense

Well so much for having Malkin on his own... i guess it's a possibility when days comes back.

Sounds like Tavares centres Bergeron and Benn, while Marleau plays with Perry and Getzlaf. That’s from the players themselves.

No Duchene....

he's played more wing at international ice than he has played C. played wing during the lockout and played damn great.
