Hey, at least Weise looks good in soft minutes though. That's more than can be said about Parros.

If Weise ends up a fast and not-fragile version of Armstrong, he will be useful.

Can't blame him with the number of near misses he's had in the last few games. It's about time he had one bounce go in his favor for once.

Tinordi isnt ready to bring the kind of physicality and reliability Murray brings to the team right now, needs to fill his frame and play with more poise with the puck.. I like Pateryn alot, but I see him replacing more a guy like Gorges eventually than a guy like Murray..

"Maybe" (knowing full well they had that first shift against Westgarth/McGratton/Galiardi, for example).

Incredible run, but it also shows how dramatic the canucks drop has been.

I really hope the jets somehow get in. It would be fun watching that building go nuts

Can anyone explain to me the reason behind not being able to play the puck with your glove off a faceoff rule?

Near miss? Does that mean he just made it each time?

I'll respect that since you just referenced George Carlin.

The English language can be strange sometimes.

I've heard them explain it as a safety thing. If everyone was flopping to the ice to shield it and play it with their hand, there would be trouble. As soon as you let it "a little bit", it gets exploited. And the "esthetics" of a rugby scrum-turned-hand pass over a faceoff drop are probably undesirable for those most concerned with the image of the game, I'd imagine, even forgetting about the safety part.
