Nylander

How many points do you see him tallying in 05/06, if he were to play 82 games?

51-60

on a side note, while looking at some of his stats, i noticed that even though he is now on his 7th NHL team, he has never been on a team that made it past the first round. Which will now most likely happen again.

Well his last 2/3 seasons he has hit over 60 points. Always on bad teams. He's going to have good linemates with Jagr and maybe Rucinsky. With the opening up of the NHL it should at least give him and extra couple points. With that I'd expect like 65.

I think you should've added 30-40...60 points equated to 33rd in scoring amongst forwards in the 2003-04 season, and while Nylander might end up with Jagr when Straka gets injured I think if he plays 2nd line then 30-40 might be all we can expect.

Straka has been playing Wing for the past 2 years exclusively. Im pretty sure Nylander will be with Jagr. Plus like Nyranger said his past 2 seasons he's put up 60 point seasons with bad teams..why wouldn't he be able to do it again? I think your underrating him big time.

The lovely Vida Guerra eh.

51-60 seems fair to me.

Wouldn't it make sense to make the first line Rucinsky - Straka - Jagr? All three of those players have played with one another at some point in their careers (just never all at the saemtime). And then the second line of LeClair - Nylander - Lindros, lol. It could happen.

Are you sure? I thought he centered a line in Pittsburgh, and he was listed as a center with LA (just not sure what he played there)...and he most certainly was a centerman in the World Championships with Jagr...along with Rucinsky on the left.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Straka centering Rucinsky and Jagr in Austria this past April. It's likely the reason they were both brought in, the line was unstoppable.

Well right now Straka will be a center. We don't have anyone for the second line.

Wasn't aware that Straka centered Jagr at the WC. So we got the whole first line that dominated in the WC...hmmmmm

Hmm, if he plays with Jagr again then 70 points wouldn't surprise me, they had some good chemistry in Washington...

Yep, and Sather even commented on it in the interview after they signed Rucinsky. This has been about making Jagr comfortable...

Anyway back to my point, I see Nylander struggling to get 40 points this year on the 2nd line...
