That course is such a piece of ****, holy cow.

Props to her on sticking through a lot of that beaten up snow.

Wow, what a run!

Hopefully one of the other two can sneak into the top 3 here.

You know it's bad when the slightest loss of speed means the skier won't even make it to the landing of the next jump.

Dara killed it! Looking like another shiny gold medal! I have a feeling Kim will join her on the podium...

The snow is so slow, it's insane. That last jump section is deadly. Imagine coming off of your trick, landing, and having to prepare for grabbing speed, or else you're knuckling.

Christ.

Yeah it's rough to watch. These are the best in the world and they just can't deal with it.

Train for 4 years, and compete on this garbage. What a waste for these girls.

Really disappointing for both the athletes and spectators. It almost seems like hitting all the jumps and finishing the run will result in a medal.

Although it really reinforces how impressive Howell's run really was.

That's a medal run until that last dangerous jump section. It's really just safe to skip to the smaller jump. There's no speed there.

One lady did that, and she scored in the 60s. They really have to hit the big jumps if they want to medal.

I thought that she had stuck to the smaller jumps exclusively. I understand that it's going hard or home, and it's the Olympics, but that's a 75< run if she attempts that 9 or even drops down to the 720 on the smaller jump.

Not only that, but kicking out a 900 on that big.

After seeing her at the X-Games, she can really throw large spins in the jump sections, but this course is impossible.
