Excellent game from everyone. The Avs poured it on in the third; Mason was very good, outside of the goal.

Sucks Mason couldn't get the shut out tonight because he deserved one. Just show up on Saturday & we should be heading into the break happy.

Good effort by Mason in this game and a pretty good overall team effort. I like how this team has played its last 5 games against some pretty good teams.

My 3 Stars:

1. Mason
2. Raffl
3. Streit

He was great, but so was Varlamov. Whole team played great. A little too much on our heels at the end but at least they pulled it out.

Damn does Mackinnon look good though.

Mason was expected to be the post-game guest on radio:

But that has been canceled. That feed is working, however.

Yes he does, he's better than Duchesne already. Dumb Canadians.

I give Simmer a star tonight, he was flying out there.

Duchene looked good tonight but ran into a hot goalie much like Giroux & our top guns going the other way.

His big brother... if the guy was as fast as our Raffl I reckon he would be in the NHL as well. (tbh a lot of players could say that!)

He is absolutely humongous (like 6'4 and ~220 I reckon... though just checked and listed at 205-210, seems bigger when I have seen him play for Austria, checked again... Sochi site has him at 6'4 and 230!) and insanely strong, and one of the better board players and power forwards I have seen in the world cup and olympic qualies.

He'll be at the Olympics.
