Really can't afford losses to **** teams like Edmonton right now. Team had their heads so far up their ***** they could see sunlight.

Also, I counted at least 6 Edmonton plays that would be called as penalties on literally any other night. Oh, and a missed major on Jones and his chicken wing.

**** everything, I can't believe I got up to watch this ****! I should've stayed in bed.

In Callahan's defence, he did create a lot of the opportunities he missed himself. I can't really say he had a bad game, missed opportunities may be more frustrating - but they are better than no opportunities at all. I'm looking at you, Rick Nash.

Is what it is. The Rangers too complacent. Not nearly enough energy. The Rangers thought they could sleep walk through this game.

Too many cute passes that were constantly picked off by a terrible defensive Oilers team.

The good news is that its only one game. The good good news is that people will stop throwing around words like contender for about a week.

First line needs to be addressed. Its way too inconsistent.

Yet ANOTHER 2-1 home loss to an absolutely atrocious hockey team.

Between the refs and the embarrassment of the condition of the ice, that game was close to unwatchable.

Only thing that comes out of that game is all the 16 year olds on here thinking a 12 goal Russian hot dog is the greatest thing ever, on a play that should have been called a hook on another overrated "star" in Taylor Hall.

There's just absolutely no excuse for this loss. Lousy, sloppy play all night, and playing down to an opponent AGAIN. There is no cushion here. We need a lot of wins.

I voted only for Captain Callahan. He is our best player, and should be the highest paid Rangers player. He needs to hold out for Crosby money. After all, he is that good.

Is anyone really surprised? It was a sure win against a crap team. And we lost. Saw it coming.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about it. I'm sure there will be some serious overreactions though as per usual.

And Callahan wants to be paid 7 million dollars a year? Hey Ryan, those kinds of players BURY THEIR CHANCES and don't miss the net more often than Michael Del Zotto.

Oilers didn't play a particularly good game. They just hunkered down and played off of Ranger mistakes.

If they Rangers showed a bit more energy they would probably would have won the game handedly.

Refs were ****ing awful. ive never seen such a blatantly miscalled game.

Callahan was horrid. he couldve singlehandedly had 7 points. the whole game he shot when he shouldve passed and passed when he shouldve shot.

I did not think Talbot was that good. 1st goal was a joke and the GWG went through him.

looked like we came in expecting a win. Oilers are a really bad hockey team. So many hooking holding and interference calls missed and that blatant elbow to zucc. Had our PP gone out there i think they wouldve shredded them apart.

Overall: bad loss, i want callahan gone now.

Deep breath. It will be alright.

cally scores on a break away, or the 2 on 1, or 1 of the 10 other quality scoring chances and this game has a different outcome. rangers are not bad. you would really like nash or kreider to come in and mushroom stamp this game when it was tied 1-1. oh well i digress. tomorrow is another day.

brass-pool-zucc line best by far. Kreider tried to carry his line, Cally sunk his. 4th line did it's job. Kleins worst game so far, hope it's a fluke.
