Finally some protection for Goalies

This sport has needed some added protection for goalies for a long time.

Russia to the rescue!

There are no dressing room at the training facilities so players have to walk there in their full gear. Schelling opted for getting a ride.

Like I could maybe maybe understand if it was to protect their skates from the asphalt but there's no protection for them on the metal floor of that cage.

So I dunno.

Well, good thing that they didn't waste those 51 billion dollars on wasteful things like Dressing rooms near the area....

So I dunno.
She's not walking in that cage, grinding the metal with each step. Also, she may be a goaltender who opts for a duller edge, in which case standing on metal wouldn't do much damage.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong with this solution.

Maybe she's worried about her pads since they go almost all the way to the bottom of the blade.

*Curtsey* Thank you!

When you aren't at the Olympics(grrrr......Norway...AGAIN!!!!!), you have to find a bright spot somewhere. Who knew that spot would be record levels of overspending and swiss goalies in cages.

:p

I actually find the really sad that the Russian people are getting taken advantage of like this.
