I believe he was a scouting consultant with the team a few years ago, and now does other scouting work. He's no longer with the team.

Probably isn't there because I don't scout for them any more. I scouted part-time from 2008-10..when Gauthier took over he cut everything, part-time gigs included.

Since then I've helped out Bob McKenzie with his draft profiles on TSN, done the rankings for McKeens (which I've co-published since 2007), and for the past two years I've done TSN's draft rankings, and also written several articles for their Future Watch edition.

That's actually pretty cool. Well, except for the whole Gauthier thing.

So in short Gauthier is a terrible person? Atleast you didn't ask for a jersey...

I was going to ask if Gauthier asked Grant for his clipboard back.

2/ Guy Lafleur at 22 - Overrated bust. Dionne should have been the pick..soft, no heart.
3/ Jean Beliveau at 22 - Don't sign him - if he thinks he's too good to play for the Habs let him rot in the Quebec Senior league...Prima Donna.
4/ Guy Lapointe at 22 - He hasn't cracked the NHL as a regular yet? Career AHLer.
5/ Yvon Lambert at 22 - Can't skate, will likely never see the NHL. Shave that mustache!!
priceless...

Are you implying that paid scouts wouldn't have said the same?

McCarron has 1 assist.
Vail has 1 goal.

Knights win in OT. No point for McCarron on the goal.

He didn't even see any ice time in OT, Hunter kept playing Domi/Horvat every second shift.

McCarron is a long shot. Give him at least another season in the OHL. And maybe another one or two in Hamilton. And will see. I'm optimistic with him. Why not?
I see him as a second line winger or 3rd line center. In the Stanley cup series, he will be one of our best warrior. Subban, Crisp, De La Rose, and Tinordi will complete the army. But we need more. The next draft will tell...

On the tying goal mccarron was out of position and the windsor player just kind of walked around him probably why he got benched. He played great the rest of the game though pretty physical and lots of offensive pressure he played a bunch of 4 on 4 and one shift on the PP.

great news,

speaking of sportsnet and junior hockey, they're showing Owen Sound vs. London not this friday but the week after. Matchup between the player I wanted the Habs to draft given the pick vs. the actual draft pick.

Nice. Wallmark would've been a good pick, I also like Compher.

I also don't care for Bigras. I also prefer Heatherington and acouple others over Bowey but that's just personal opinion.

McCarron as a centre: 11GP - 5G 6A 11P
McCarron in his last 12 games: 6G 6A 12P

McCarron is currently on a four game point streak, the longest of his OHL career. There's been some massive changes in his game recently, which is very good to see.

He wasn't benched. He actually played a shift a couple of minutes later that swung momentum back in London's favour. He did some good work along the boards and fired a few shots on goal. Smith and Welychka both looked great, too.

1g 1a for both Hudon and Grégoire in a 3-2 win against Drummondville.

Hudon scored the GWG with 15 seconds left in the game, he's such a clutch player.

Looks like Veilleux sent Hudon - Girard - Grégoire in the last minute to grab a goal.

Reway also had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win. He scored his goal on PK.

Hudon and Bozon are two of the Habs hottest prospects...

Hudon is 14-29-43 in 23 games since late November including 18 points his last 9 games.

Bozon after a slow start(33 points in 40 games) has gone 17-14-31 in 19 games since January 1st. With 2 points next game, he could double his output in half the games!
