Yeah, but at what price? No doubt Keenan loves this guy, let's see how much Vancouver gets thrown their way for him though (ala Edmonton in the Pronger deal)

Guys...who knows what legal ramifications are out there for Bertuzzi besides civil lawsuit?? Are all criminal charges behind him? Worth all of the unknowns....???

The criminal case was resolved. With Bertuzzi taking a plea resulting in no criminal record. The civil case is not resolved yet. Which is why Moore's lawyer Ted Danson made statements today (prior to the announcement about Bert) that Moore was not cleared to play despite the stories in the papers yesterday. Cuz if has been cleared to play the potential compensation Moore could win will probably decrease drastically.

As for Bertuzzi being traded, with Naslund back for 3 more years, I don't see it happening unless there is a substantial return. A deal with Florida IMO would have to include one of either Bouwmeester or Luongo, which I see unlikely to happen.

Wait wait wait.

So you're telling me Ted Danson is Moore's attorney. THE TED DANSON!

But yea, a Bertuzzi to Florida deal probally wouldn't work.

Ted Danson!

Yeah this Ted Danson was the dude who represented the French and Mahaffy families and tried to keep Karla Homolka in prison.

Bertuzzi or Danson?

In all seriousness, what it would take to get Bertuzzi, Florida would not want to give up.

I seriously think Rebecca (Kirstie Alley) wouldn't do it for the old man anymore, but Diane (Shelley Long) might just get him here.

Bouwmeester or Luongo, anything else isn't worth discussing.
