Witt Wants To Be Traded

What do you guys think? I think we could get a deal done with Washington, they're cheap & young and we've got a butt load of prospects we could give 'em for Witt.

I think he'd make a good #1 d for us and we wouldn't have to give up too much.

I was just about to post this. We should be hard pressed to go after Brendan Witt. He's a great defenseman and would fit with us perfectly. A guy like him is what Keenan and Martin would both love. Hopefully the Panthers can snag him, despite the obstacle of having to deal with someone in our own division.

I also saw this and hoped that Keenan would go after him. Witt would definately be another good physical prescence on the blueline. Thing is that he asked to be traded to contender... so I don't think we qualify yet.

Definitely wouldn't be opposed to a deal that brings Witt over here.

Not putting down any Caps fans that read this either, I don't want a Caps fan taking offense.

Are we a contender yet though?

Also, Ken Klee from Toronto is rumoured to be on the shopping block...he's more of a 2nd pairing guy, but a solid stay at home defenseman.

See if they'll take Shvidki for him. I'd say Biron, but we bought him out...What a waste of a valuable trading resource

sorry, couldn't keep a straight face while saying that

I'd laugh if someone actually signs Biron. That is the big free agency question....who will dare sign Biron?

What if Biron signs with like Philly and wins the Cup, I would be so pissed.

No it will be a good year for your team but the coaches are not looking to hight this year.Jm likes to build and go with youth with roberts and joe there for leadership to mold the young guns.Down the road you will have a great team.

The King Street Walruses of the Northeast Wisconsin Elite Special Needs League...or somesuch team of that sort

Biron teams with former Panthers teammate little Billy Madison, who just hasn't been the same since his experience as the winner of the "Be a Panther for a day" contest. Billy plays goal now as his wheelchair takes up most of the net.

Puck is dropped...and they're off. Jimmy Martin falls down and his flailing arm knocks the puck to Biron...Mathieu skates the puck back into his own end and...OH NO!!! POOR BILLY!!

Folks, I think this is the end of Little Billy's hockey career. It's going to take a while to clean that up...we'll continue after this intermission...
