They could. You just never know how guys are going to react to these things. Some guys do let it propel their game to another level when they get back.

I thought Jake looked good at times in the Swiss game yesterday, despite getting less playing time than some of the older guys. They have him as the net presence guy on his line though, which I thought was weird. That's not his game.

Ya i noticed that about voracek...these games have been great...seeing superstars being made to fit roles instead of take over the game is great. Also seeing the way people are getting hit and throwing hits even if they aren't known for it in the nhl is pretty cool to see. Malkin got rocked with a hip check a little earlier today

Heh, Radulov refused to change and spent the whole 2 minutes of a PP on the ice - Kulemin was waiting for a loooong time for Radulov to change. This guy is just unbelievable

I'm starting to hope Russia wins this in regulation.

I fear Russia getting the #6 seed, USA getting the #3 seed, and the two teams playing each other come Wednesday.

It doesn't matter if the Slovaks get 1 or 2 points, they'll be 10th.

Yep, it doesn't matter anymore. They're going against us. Which I hate, because Mez looks like a real hockey player out there and they seem to finally get things going.

New strategy vs Capitals PP:
Mason covers one side of the net, and Mez covers the LW side for when Ovechkin one times it.

Everyone cheer for Russia in the SO. Unless Canada/Finland go to overtime a Russia win would be very bad for the USA
