Sabres Any Interest in Witt

Supposely Brendan Witt wants to be traded from the Caps
Sabres need D and i have ALWAYS been a fan of Witt
The Sabres should make an attempt to get him
What would we offer though
Anyone else want him?

Not from me.

Witt was a liability last year and I can't see him getting any better in the New Way. I'd rather have our forwards being chased around the zone by Witt then watching Witt get burned by the opponents attackers.

While we're better off than washington, I don't think that we're the calibre club that Brendan wants to be moved to.

It would be cool to finally share a first name with one of our guys though.

I completely agree. And in a speed-based game, he's going to be exposed even more than recent seasons.

It's a moot point as Witt demanded to be traded to a "contender".
