Rangers on MSG Theme?

What's that instrumental they play on MSG before every Rangers game?

If someone can pull this post off, I'd be impressed. I know how the music goes, I just do not know how to type music notes. I think MSG has their own music. If you watch the Knicks intro, it sounds like the same instruments were used for theirs.

What i dont understand about the introduction - Ive emailed and pleaded with MSG to change this small thing no one has noticed:

Think it through your mind Ranger fans-
Since the rangers have been on a playoff drought.. take any tape out (if you dared to save one) and watch the pregame, with the introduction before the game ----
The music hes talking about starts. The skates being sharpened... the jersey and stick thing... and then some hits and goals, some players... Then right at the end of the intro it peaks and the RANGER LOGO EXPLODES!!!!!!

WHY!!!???

I suggested they take the team that they are playing against and explode their logo!!! That cant be good karma exploding your own logo before a game!!! Whats the deal with that!? Has anyone noticed that? The history laden logo of an original six franchise shatters into a fiery mess of chaos, every night they play!

The theme you hear now is in it's 2nd go around. The theme you hear now was debuted in the 1992-93 season. It is the same theme that was used through the cup run. Halfway through the 1996-97 season, the theme changed to the music (and the background was blurry...during the Gretzky years). Then the old theme returned for the 2000-01 season (Messier's return).

It was the same theme in 94. So all this time I thought the Rangers' bad play was due to poor management, coaching, and bad signings. It was the theme song?

No, it was the drawstrings on the sweaters.

Reasons why the Rangers have played poor hockey
The Liberty Jerseys
The WHITE Liberty Jerseys
The NY Liberty (have the Rangers made the playoffs since their debut?)
The NHL 2000 patch
The NYR2000 logo in center ice
The 75th Anniversary logos
The "NYR" logo on the helmets

I can totally hear the music in my head right now lol. But I think it needs to be changed, just to get something new and fresh in there. Not completely change it because I love the skates and all that, but it needs to be freshened up.

Let's not forget the "Hockey's Different Here" slogan.

That alone was good for at least 25 losses.

Am I the only one who hates the stupid commemorative jerseys with the little white lace at the neck? I can't stand that. It was cute in the 40's, now it's just ridiculous. I used to where the jerseys all the time, I barely have the courage to where that silly tie look to a game!

I had no idea he owned the Indians. So it was him that signed Roger Dorn to a multi-year contract, what a putz.
