This was such an underwhelming tournament with the focus on defense. Get rid of this big ice. It's pathetic.

Feel like this should be on the Swedish trainer for giving him the medicine. Can't expect Backstrom to know an allergy medicine was banned, unless of course he took on his own without telling anyone.

"This big ice" is used in every league in the world except ours and requires heavy construction to change. It's not going anywhere.

Apparently something like claritin for his allergies. What a joke.

I'm not stupid, I know that. They had no problem using it last Olympics and it showed.

You're going to tell me these games haven't been incredibly boring compared to the last ones? The average goals per game has gone down by a FULL GOAL.

They can easily change it for future international competitions. It is rare a country uses existing rinks for Olympic competitions. Make sure they build NA sized ice for future competitions, whether world cups or olympics.

Not difficult to do at all.

That was a brutal turn over. Henrik just screamed at that player.

Kicked out of a gold medal game for claritin? That is messed up. I would be kinda pissed if I was Sweden.

Sweden is down too many key players to really be in this one.

The outcome of this tournament really never seemed to be in doubt.

This is still Canada's game. They are superior in every way among countries that play this game and are to be congratulated on their win.

Don't think Carey Price had to make a tough save today. He'll be tournament MVP.

Maybe three tough saves in his shutout against the US.

I feel physically ill.

Not even happy for Nash. For some reason, he is surprisingly easy to root against...

I felt the same way about Nash. Of all the Rangers there, he was the least I cared about.

I actually started disliking him. All that effort will vanish as soon as nhl starts up

USA and Sweden should have tried to run the Latvia goal play, only way they were going to score.

After a pretty even 1st, Canada ran Sweden out of the building. They were easily the better team.
