Yet you happily told us how you thought they all felt before you started on this whole none of us know how they feel diatribe.

If you look back most of those teams Finland beat in the QF's struggled a bit in the preliminary round, which is why they had the misfortune of having to play Finland in the QF as opposed to some of the weaker top 8 teams. However they were all dangerous teams and with the exception of Canada Finland finished them off which is impressive.

There shouldnt be celebrations for winning the loser-final. Its like winning games after you've been eliminated from the playoffs (something I know all to well being an Oilers fan). Its always nice to win, but who really cares. Celebrations are kind of hollow, just like the loser-final match itself
Well, that's up to every individual to decide I guess. Some value it more, and some less. I don't think it's any difference just because we are from Europe though. A bronze is not as good as a silver or gold, ofc it's not. But it's better than QF elimination and ending the tournament with two losses instead of one.

Relatively speaking, few people in Finland would pay over 100 euros to watch France play Austria. Though the prices for Finland's games were still considered too steep by many, the big problem was non-Finland games. Back in 2003 the prices were much more reasonable and the games were better attended: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._by_attendance

Yeah, its always better to leave on a high-note. Its still a consolation prize though.

Because YOU don't appreciate it, nobody else does either, even the athletes.

What the athletes themselves are saying doesn't stop you at all. You're the authority and know better how they should feel.

World revolves around you. If you don't approve of something, neither should anyone else.
There now youre learning. Although the world doesnt really revolve around me though. It revolves around the sunshine.
