Bryn Griffiths called me this afternoon.

Congrats Guy. I'll be listening.
By the way, I assume your very cool looking avatar is decidedly not meant to be the Flames consuming the Oil!

perfect - I'll be able to swing that easily. When I first saw the heading I thought oh $hit, he'll be on at like 10:30 or something while I'm in school. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say Guy. I have noticed that you have expanded your horizons it seems and you write more about the Oilers and not just their prospects - I love it, as Brownlee well we've had this discussion, and Matheson should look into politics (talks with out saying anything). OH GOD, don't get me started on Joane Ireland.......

Darn, just when I thought I had it figured out. Is it pronounced flaming or flemming?

Get on bryn's case to get a web cast. I would luv to hear your interview.

You'll be great Guy. Bryn and Jake are pretty quick, though, you might want to have a cup of coffee before the interview.

Guy,

In a spare moment, could you ask Bryn if he went to Harry Ainlay and graduated in 1978? I assume he's the same guy. If so, he was one of my older brother's friends.

Dear lord man.... it's Guy (like Lafleur) and Flaming (like the flaming horse logo on Calgary's unis). It doesn't ryhme with slamming and it's not flemming.

Stauffer said it right, Jason Gregor was off a few times but we don't really know each other that well yet. Bryn I've talked to several times so he should have it down pat.

I'm setting my alarm clock so I have time to listen! I'm gonna be mad if the interview is at like 8:25 or something so I miss it.......

Guy you will be great - looking forward to hearing up to the minutes stuff.....
How much preperation (if any) do you do for these?

no prep work at all. I have no idea what we'll be talking about although I would expect it to be about the Oilers, camp and prospects. (That's sort of up my ally right?)

Another trick is to make a nice hot cup of coffee...then stick in a couple of teabags and let it steep for 20 minutes. W O W.

Your head will vibrate like someone put it in a paint shaker, but I guarantee you your wits won't be dulled by sleep.
