Battle of the backups tonight, and lookout for Enroth he has something to prove, trying to break his 13 game losing streak.

Plus Carey Price is out for at least 2 games after re-suffering an injury from the olympics.

I knew the Buffalo Sabres were bad, I didn't know they were dressing a D pairing of Scott-McBain bad. Somehow the pair survived against the Hurricanes, I don't like their chances against Boston.

I am actually interested in seeing John Scott play D. He may end up being the mutant love child of Hal Gill and Ivan Drago

My father is calling Miller v Scott tonight, tried to explain how absurd it was but he insists Miller would win.

Did Jamie McBain just suffer a slew of injuries? Man, I liked him when he broke into the league in Carolina.

he's much better on his lateral movement, that's for sure. Essensa has done some pretty darn good work.

Miller is stronger. Would love to see him chop down Scott tonight.

And Scott could cartoonishly hold him by his head and Miller would flail at nothing because of the 7 inch gap between the two. I like Miller, I'd rather him not try and outdo himself.

Oh damn i hope not. Millsy has proven himself a willing combatant who will throw down, and throw down well... but picking a fight with Scott could end up being a disaster for his confidence and mojo if he gets KO'ed the way Thornton did.

I hate giving Scott any respect, but the Tale of the Tape speaks for itself. I hope Miller doesn't try any of that, he means too much to the team right now especially if PC isn't able to get a deal worth making done before the deadline...
