I hate giving Scott any respect, but the Tale of the Tape speaks for itself. I hope Miller doesn't try any of that, he means too much to the team right now especially if PC isn't able to get a deal worth making done before the deadline...
Miller needs this to keep Quaider a healthy scratch. He's stronger and will wear Scott down like in Rocky IV.

When it comes to Scott, I can't help but think of what Mike Rupp said to Jody Shelley on 24/7.

Quote:
SHELLEY: You lookin' for a fight? You lookin' for a fight?

RUPP: What are you gonna do, Jody?

SHELLEY: Are you lookin' for one?

RUPP: You're ****ing irrelevant. You're ****ing irrelevant out here. If you had any outcome on the game I'd ****ing go with you. You don't. You don't.
Doing anything more would be advantageous to the Sabres. Just let the big oaf take his 3 shifts and get out of that city with the W.

My daughter is somewhat twitter famous today-asked to show how fans shoes their team spirit she posted a picture of her Bruins nails-and got lots of retweets and some Bruins swag (swag in the mail).

https://mobile.twitter.com/dictatore...99481547038720

Not sure if it will show up or not (using my phone and I suck at technology)-but Thought it was rather cool for the return of NHL hockey and the Bruins.

miller needs to be throttled to keep mcquaid in the PB? ehhh, i can see a defensible argument for mcquaid needing a fight...

make scott skate and boom, de facto power play. if we're going by season averages we're guaranteed 6:00 in PP time tonight courtesy of jethro himself.

**** scott, he's brutal.

Any word if Tuukka is starting tonight or if they're resting him?

I didn't see any of the game last night but Scott at least had a pretty respectable stat line playing D. +1, over 11 minutes, couple of hits and a block. Took a penalty, but that's a pretty good night for a guy like him.

Tuukka didn't travel with the team. They left him resting in. Boston and took Svedberg to Buffalo.

Good move IMO.

Pretty sure they said he wasn't even going to dress. Johnson with Svedberg playing backup.

I have a feeling Loui will get hot. 2 point game before he left, had a great Olympics, I think he'll put it all together and bring his success back over here. Definitely a huge plus if he can.

On NBC tonight? Audio should be good than. Hopfully the sound guy at NESN is watching this one to get some pointers.

Not playing. Saw a report he stayed in Boston for off ice workout today.

Hopefully Strader and Engblom. I'm still having nightmares of Pierre in his Sochi outfit.

^This . Scott isn't worth any of the B' s getting injured or spending time in the box.

Ignore the big goon.

It drives me up a wall when networks still show the top 8 standings as if the league still uses that playoff format.

UGH

Seriously? 1st day of spring training and we already lose our pre-game to the freaking stupid Sox?! This is why I hate NESN. The Bruins are treated as the red headed step-child.

Now that I'm sufficiently angry, let's go boys, time to go back to work!
