All of these are huge overpayments except the Callahan one. No team is going to give up top prospects, 1st and 2nds for UFA's. 1st, top prospect or second but not all of them in same deal.

Callahan deal is awful for the Rags. Stewart is a malcontent. He seems to play when he wants.

The Buffalo deal involving Miller isn't worth their wild either. Halak, a late second round pick and a spare part in MPV? That is lousy.

Why dont you guys post your own trades rather than just saying no to all the proposed ones. At least counter or something.

Because the Girardi to the Ducks already has a thread and that proposal is straight up awful for us.

agreed. the wild get ripped off. worst one of the bunch.

charlie coyle and a 1st and a 2nd for a UFA in Vanek? wild will just wait in free agency and keep their assets OP. and heatley has negative value.

The trade for Miller isn't great but it is a fair offer if the 2nd is a 1st with no conditions. As a Sabres fan I am hoping for more but we could also end up getting less.

You overestimated the rental returns by a fair bit for Vanek, Girardi and Callahan.

I'd much rather have Girardi than Bouwmeaster

You shouldn't, especially when you include contract status, which you should.

Stewart would probably thrive in a system that is less defensive minded than what he has now under Ken Hitchock. I think you may be surprised.

As far as the Miller trade, MPS is going to be a good player. He had no structure in Edmonton and was surpassed on the depth chart by all those top picks the Oilers had. Give him a good coach and system and he would thrive too. Halak is just there as a throw in.

My predicts (do not take these too seriously);

1.

Dan Girardi
Luca Sbisa + 2nd round pick + 4th round pick

2.

Ryan Miller
Charlie Coyle + 2nd round pick

3.

Thomas Vanek
1st round pick + Zack Phillips

4.

Ryan Callahan
T.J Brodie + 2nd round pick

5.

Mike Cammalleri
Jake Muzzin + Linden Vey

Wild is gonna be wild. They are going to give up first, second and two really good prospects for it! You'll see Flames is going to offer some money to Cally next summer and Cally has accepted it. I'm also pretty sure these won't work cap-wise. Wild will dump Heatley somewhere but it won't be in "top 5 trades".

I think would be something like DSP, Sbisa, Ana 1st or 2nd If anything.
