Biggest trade deadline in years?

As far as most players moved and the quality of players moved this could be a big deadline. Or I could be super optimistic and the TSN commercials are getting to me.

But some big names on the block or being talked about:
St. Louis
Vanek
Miller
Callahan
Kesler
Moulson
Girardi
Eberle
Ganger
Parenteau
Ott
Legwand
Gaborik
etc.

Some of these are pure speculation however. But do you think this years deadline will be the most exciting in years?

It will either be the best trade deadline ever from a fan standpoint or it will be the biggest let up ever in the history of trade deadline speculation IMO.

I don't think I could take that much more after today's Winchester and Conelly trade.

I doubt we see both Eberle, Girardi, St. Louis or Kesler traded but if we do yes this will be a huge deadline day. I'm excited

Andrei Markov could be on the move as well. It's shaping up to be a good deadline day.

With how cynical HF usually is, I honestly that the title was sarcastic. I'm now really looking forward to Wednesday.

No. People say this every year.

There's always names on the block. Majority probably won't be moved.

Eberle isn't being talked about. The Oilers are selling their guys on expiring contracts, they are not re-rebuilding.

Maybe in the summer, certainly not now.

It would take the type of overpayment that gets GM's fired (if it doesn't result In a Cup) to get Eberle, so don't get your hopes up haha

Burke offered Cammalleri an extension within the last couple days. He wants to keep him around.

The 3 point game keeps every team feeling like a "buyer". Won't have another great trade deadline until they get rid of the 3rd point or move it back to the end of March.

No playoff team is going to give up a 2/3 defenseman at the deadline for Eberle. The Oilers won't be trading a 23 year old 1st line winger locked up for another 5 years for scraps

I'll be willing to bet only a third of whom are on that list are moved and one to three that are not (that have any real meaning). Other that that teams will dig in their trenches and hold out till off season.

I think it'll actually be the least active trade deadline in years. With the low cap this season, there are just too many teams without cap space and a lot of the guys mentioned in trade rumors lately carry big cap hits. It'll be one of the most hyped up trade deadlines in years (MSL, Kesler, Callahan, Miller, Vanek) but I really doubt we'll see much action at all.
