Hmmm... probably going to skip watching this one.

Any redeeming qualities to this game?

Homers idea of sexy is Jody Shelley, Riley Cote, and Zac Rinaldo.

It is obvious we are not going on a run in the playoffs...if we get there. So therefore sell, sell, sell.

Keep all the young guys...trade the rest for what you can.

So like I said, I can't wait for the Olympic break to be over. I'm really looking forward to the first game back.

Keep

XXX-Giroux-Voracek
XXX-Schenn-Simmonds
Raffl-Couturier-Read
XXX-Laughton-XXX

Coburn-XXX
Gus-Schenn
XXX-XXX

Morin, Haag, Ghost for the future

Mason

Lecavalier, Downie, Grossmann, Streit, and Mez should all be actively shopped for whatever we can get. I don't hate Streit, but I wouldn't mind just trading him for cap space for next season.

I would not trade Hartnell for scraps, but I would be for moving him in the right deal. Same for Coburn, but we would really need a replacement before I would be willing to trade him

Watching how good Trouba already is in Wpg, we have to hope we get lucky and one of the three D men can get in and contribute soon.

I'm sure glad I chose a pile of dishes over this game. Wow. I don't even think I want to see the highlights.

Yeah, maybe it's a blessing in disguise that this team is exposed as a fringe playoff team, and thoughts of keeping players like Meszaros for a "run" are silly and wasteful. Grossmann's game also seems to have driven right off a cliff.

But it's just ludicrous and unacceptable how often the team looks like they don't have the slightest idea how to get into defensive position in their own zone. This is basic hockey.

Plus, another shorthanded goal allowed. That's another head-shaker.

Meh, pretty much all of the games were defense-free affairs tonight. We'll see what happens over the next couple of games, and hope that Holmgren goes into the TDL with eyes wide open and in shrewd mode, rather than looking for a splashy deal to try to back into the playoffs.

Competency at a cheap cap hit, something sorely lacking outside of him in the D corps.
