I'm down for the games. When does the season start?

So if it's an away game, meetup venue is a sports bar? And if it's home game, Saputo?

Season already started lol. Last saturday was the 1st game.

This upcoming Saturday there's an away game at Houston that starts at 8:30 but there's a habs game at the same time.

Next ones:
March 22: Home against Seattle 4:00 pm
March 29: Away against Philly 4:00 pm
April 5: Home against NYRB 4:00 pm
April 12: Home against Chicago 4:00 pm
April 19: Away against SKC 8:30 (maybe habs playoffs game at the same time).

I'm out of town last week of march so if you guys want to meet up on march 29 I won't be able to.

Perkins
Miller-Camara-Ferrari-Pierce
----Bernardello-Bernier----
--Mapp-Felipe-Gonzalez--
------Wenger--------
If I'm Klopas, that's my line-up. I just hope Gonzalez is comfortable on the left wing.

edit: Oops. Yeah that wouldn't work

Sydney FC have decided not to renew the contract of Alessandro Del Piero expires in June! Do you think he still has the legs to play?

We should focus on bringing in guys that can help us in the long term and stop being a retirement home for old Italians. Signing guys like Lopez, Bernardello and Gonzalez was a step in the right direction, let's not go back to signing old Italians. MDV and Nesta brought us credibility and were much needed signing, but we don't need ADP.

Sports Illustrated just posted this really cool post. It lays out all the organizational details of almost every team.

Very little I didn't know, but i'm weird that way.

For example here is us:

Quote:
MONTREAL IMPACT
Local TV: 21 games aired in French.

Local Radio: 34 regular season games aired in English. Home opener to air in French as well.

Season Tickets: 8,300 in 2013. Targeting 9,000.

Sponsorships: Undisclosed.

Youth Development: An average of $1 million per year has been spent since the club’s MLS launch, and a pre-academy with five teams (from U-8 to U-12) launches in April. Club has signed five Homegrown Players.

Practice Facility: Club trains at the city-owned Claude-Robillard Sports Complex. Second-division Impact used to play there too, before Stade Saputo. Team is looking into building its own facility as its “next big project.”

Daily Training Table Meals: Sometimes.

Because they didn't include the nationally televised game (they are "MLS" broadcasts not "Impact" broadcasts, so technically, they are not part of our "regional" TV deal). RDS carry those (in French, obviously).

Are you sure? I wouldnt mind ADP for a season, while we search for a solid backup replacement. We need a trequartista. Only reason I would be against signing him ; He already rejected us.

How would he fit though? Non-DP? I mean if we're serious about signing Piatti and we keep Bernardello, we won't have any DP spots left unless Garber let us do so lol

I wonder if they're going to add more DP slots on the next CBA

I had to make 2 transfers in the Fantasy League, sadly. I had Finley who's been loaned and Di Vaio which was costing me way too much. I took Bruin and Wenger instead. I guess Wenger's value might go up while Di Vaio can't play and I might be able to sell him high for another useful player later!

ADP would be nice right behind MDV. Not as a CAM, but not as a striker either. In Arsenal-Fan language it's called the Bergkamp Hole, but not sure how its called otherwise

Let ADP sign for $10 million in China or Dubai, we are much better off spending that money elsewhere.

I don't want Del Pierro. He's significantly deteriorated. A legend and all, but now... yea.

Anelka? The guy who will organize a mutiny if he doesn't get enough playing time? The guy that will get suspended for stupid racist gestures and make our club look like idiots? Sure, bring him in... He'll be a great example for our young players...

I agree with you but his gesture was overblown. He might not have done it but it wasn't racist.

In his dumb mind, it wasn't racist, sure. The Quenelle does have an antisemetic tone (even if its "creator" claims it only means "**** the system") though and as a public figure he should have known better. But Anelka is Anelka so...

Bernardello=Medel. Watching Everton vs Cardiff right now, and they're twins the way they play. From head to toe, including body language, posture etc..

There's not a player for IMFC that covers half the space of Bernardello on the field, Osvaldo in Seattle, maybe Michael Bradley, are the only ones that I can think of that come close in MLS.
