You don't need it . Last year Klopas traded Robbie Rodgers for Mike McGee which gave the Fire a phenomenal push. Same thing with this trade?

Nah. More like Lars Eller, a forward with all the tools but no toolbox for Thomas Vanek, a very good forward who will be UFA at the end of the season.

Not really comparable, Magee asked for a trade to his hometown and Rogers was all for pubicity. Came out of retirement and as not the same player from 5 years ago. I compare this trade to Dwayne de Rosario for Dax McCathy, everyone wnt nuts ... oh NYRB big losers but now who's the real winner? McCarthy is now a US INT.JM will most likely leave whereas Wenger will stay in his hometown, no pressure smilar to Magee. Right now we are the obvious winners

Not too bad, but I'm comparing it about the influence it had on the respective teams. That's really all I was pointing out. Heck, this could be like the Ricketts-Perkins deal that works for both parties.

By the way, in honor of the NYRB and Henry (Even if he won't be playing tomorrow..), this is for all of you who want something to do tonight and have nothing planned

Rogers had no influence for la, Magee MLS MVP. I prefer the Ricketts-Perkins deal comparaison

That's what I'm saying, and prior to the trade, Chicago was having a **** season, similarly to us. So maybe Jack Mac will ignite the boys and get us on a good run of form. Anyways, I think you get what I was trying to say as you agreed w/Perkins Ricketts

If Philly is smart, they try to play Wenger at CB rotating with Okugo for a future pairing. ****ing love the trade for us. Mac can be streaky but most strikers are.

If we play jackmac with bomber we gonna need our midfield to be creative but mostly really good defensively on the other end its gonna be a nightmare for the others teams defense... if Piatti is really coming in offensively will be really really dangerous..

Another excelled philly article about today:

http://www.phillysoccerpage.net/2014...ack-mcinerney/

The most interesting part is that Mac's salary option next year is "just" below DP level, and NDS said the impact would pay it.

Sounds like they want him to be our Di Vaio replacement for real next season.

Cool. Better a player we know than a new factor.

Is it me or seems like Mike Magee has a crush on his kid.

Magee speaks highly of Jack Mac in the video:
http://www.mlssoccer.com/24under24/n...adelphia-union

And his tweet today:

Mike Magee ‏@magee9 13h
They're gonna have to replace the nets biweekly in Montreal. @divaio9 & Jack attack shooting on the same goal at same time? Oh no

Nope it was confirmed by imfc few minutes after the trade wad announced. He will stay in philly this weekend to pack his things I guess and since winger is suspended for 1 game as well doest matter much but if I was the impact I would have tried to make him play anyways or at least be present.

I think the next guy to come back to MLS is Jozy Altidore. He keeps bouncing around Europe with little success.

Still, if McInerney can become as good as he was at the beginning of last year, then we could bring Occéan to be our 2nd striker. Or do you think he's not even good enough for that?

If Occéan can play in the Bundesliga 2, he can play in MLS.

Having a one-two punch of McInerney and Occéan will be pretty good, and hopefully both will be Non-DP.
