I still dream of a combined downtown complex of casino, hockey, and football extending off downtown to the perry projects.

He should just buy the CHL in its entirety and ban all the other teams scouts and video cameras.

Oh, thank God. I was worried he was going to run out of that first $4 billion. This absolutely changes how the team will operate going forward.

I think this is just him liquidating some of his $3B+ in assets, but I'm really not sure if leases for land counted towards his assets/net worth. Not sure how much of the $1.75B of this he gets directly.

Report: Terry Pegula Putting in Bid for the Bills

Quote:
Pegula has not yet officially denied or confirmed the report, and when asked about it, Sabres spokeperson Mike Gilbert would neither confirm nor deny this new information, saying only there is nothing to report.

Pegula keeps his cards close to the vest, but it sounds like he has his sights set on building an empire.

Quote:
The family created Pegula Sports and Entertainment to pull subsidiary properties under one umbrella. The group was created several months ago, but hadn't been staffed until recently.

Pegula Sports and Entertainment oversees the Sabres, HarborCenter, First Niagara Center, Rochester Americans, Buffalo Bandits, Black River Entertainment and Black River Publishing (a country music record label and publishing company based in Nashville), Five Star Athletes Management (an NFL player representation agency in Atlanta) and Impact Sports Performance (a fitness company in Boca Raton, Fla.).

Maybe... but he's gonna need a lot more if he wants a decent Death Star. Maybe he's thinking he can get a low-mileage used one, without a lot of use on the superlaser.

He should buy The Buffalo News first, close it and fire all the garbage reporters that talk **** about him.

Then buy the Bills without the headache of poorly written criticism of his every move.

Then he could get rid of that ridiculous "10 articles left!" nonsense they have on that site. All they're doing is hammering nails in their own coffin. Not to mention you can bypass that with a single keystroke.
