Brassard. Thought he was going to be a 1st line C especially after his rookie season.

I think the injury killed him, he was never the same again... So unfortunate.

Jiri Novotny. I was hoping the Leafs would draft him in 2001.

Remember around 2003 Eero Somervuori? Hockey fantasy magazines and websites were drooling over this guy for Tampa Bay and thought he'd be ROY. 0 NHL GP

Grachev. Kid was dominating the OHL and did alright in the AHL. Thought for sure he could at least be a 20 goal guy with his size and skill.

Lecavalier

Not exactly a bust, but not the "Michael Jordan of hockey" either.

Filatov and MPS fit the bill.

Was upset when Ottawa passed on MPS, and bought into the Filatov hype both around the draft and after he was traded from Columbus.

Sebastien Bordeleau-was heralded as a coming scoringmonster but he only proved juniorleague in quebec is weak.

Zarley Zalapsky- was it only for the name?

Chistov is a great one, also because I also traded for him in EA NHL and he was sick.

Gilbert Brule
Manny Legace
Justin Mapletoft
Kyle Wanvig
Ales Hemsky (sure he made a career but I thought he'd be a superstar)

Paajarvi is a good call too. I went to the first pre-season game that year in Edmonton, our first glimpse of Taylor Hall and Magnus Paajarvi vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. We all went to see Hall, he did nothing until scoring the empty net goal. MPS on the other hand made that happen by easily snapping a hat trick and looking like a future superstar. Remember being at the bar after and discussing with people how MPS might be the future star of the team, not Taylor Hall haha.

Kyle Beach, Peter Mueller, Zach Hamill and Gilbert Brule. During the Giants/Silvertips rivalry between 04 and 07, you would have thought Brule and Mueller were going to be top 6 forwards in the NHL.
