Who Has Impressed You So Far?

Which player(s) have impressed you so far this preseason?

If this thread has been done already... just pretend it hasn't and play along okay?

Henrik Sedin is number one on my list. I'm expecting big things from Hank this season. This will be his break-out-season I think. *hopes*

Hank
King
Mojzis
Keane
Kesler

Not going to mention the "regulars" because you can't really tell if they're actually trying.

A lot:
Ryan Kesler
Tomas Mojzis

A little:
Jason King
Mike Keane (didn't suck balls, who'da thunk?)

No-one else surprised me, really...although Naslund's LACK of scoring did. Yes, that includes Mr. and Mr. Sedin - had they not had kickass preseasons I would've been pissed.

Top 3:
1. Henrik Sedin
2. Jiri Slegr
3. Mike Keane

Bottom 3:
1. Dan Cloutier
2. Markus Naslund
3. Fedor Fedorov

Good thing this is only pre-season hey!

Henrik Sedin has looked like a force out there, of course this is all based on highlights and training camp, but he looks really strong and aware out there.

Slegr has been a rock, PP QB and seems to be on the ice everytime the Canucks score.

Keane looks to have earned a contract.

Nobody has impressed me.

Pre-season means absolutely nothing, it's just a way to line the owner's pockets with cash. History is full of guys and teams who've had fantastic pre-seasons, then stunk out the joint once the season started.

Which is also the reason why I'm not worried about Nazzy, and Mo. The fact that they've stunk up the pre-season *also* mean's nothing.

Congrats your the very first person to make my ignore list!
Your useless trolling is a waste of time. Good question as too why this guy doesn't get banned.. he does nothing too contribute to the forums.. he just insults the team, or players.

Here's an idea .....

Why doesn't everyone who is annoyed by this kid just put him on your ignore list .. then he can type until his 18th St Crips hearts content (even if he is probably a rich, suburban white kid playing on Mommy and Daddy's computer).

Feeding the trolls makes them come back, if not one replys to him or just puts him on ignore I guarantee you we won't see him back here anytime soon (instead he will be out gang baning, cause he's a crip ....

And if you feel the need to reply to one of his posts, do me and the rest of us with this joker on ignore, and don't quote his post. The ignore function doens't work when you quote a post, and then we are forced to actually try to ignore his garbage yet again.

No wonder he is cranky. He lives near the Mighty Ducks.

What everyone else said and...
Ohlund! I read an article this morning about last night's win, and Ohlund's comments impressed me. He basically said that they haven't been happy with their play in the preseason, and instead of making up excuses (roster too big, too many games, etc.) he said:

"Guys realized today that the season is getting closer and there's no way you can just turn a switch on when the regular season starts."

Many have voiced concerns about the Canucks not turning up the heat before the season starts, and I share them. Having one of our top 4 players acknowledge and address those concerns is what impressed me. Attaboy Ohlund

Exactly maruk 14. Just don't respond. I realize he'll change his handle and reappear. That's the pathology of these nutbars. So just ignore any and all baiting. He'll get tired of it and get back to his empty life.

Forsberg dives. Hejduk is only more than a 30 goal scorer cuz he is playing with Forsberg... plus his face looks like it has been bent out of shape. Tanguay isn't even first line quality. No one's perfect.

on the contrary. Naslund is the captain for a reason. i didn't know that 14 points in 14 games isn't showing up.

Bertuzzi was arguably our MVP in the St Louis series. he may not have been on the scoresheet much, but his physical presence had the Blue's both injured and intimidated to go in the corners. his hit on MacInnis completely turned the series around.

hold on i got this one, Langdon, May, Jovo can drop them (remember deadmarsh boy), and hell if need be we can just put Cloutier out there, he would most likely be able to beat up 90% of the Avs roster.

I won't put you on the ignore list, for the same reason I didn't ignore KL your ignorant opinions are quite humorous

Another thing I'd like to know , who's gonna be the tough guy for the Cannots this season ? Who's gonna protect the Sedin sister's?
Langdon, May, Ruutu, Grenier, Allen?

do you see any other Avs fans come in here and troll? this forum is above others because fans from other teams discuss topics together and respect each other and their respective favorite teams. you don't belong in the hfboards community.

McAllister? That is your tough guy, McAllister?

Ok Worrell and Langdon had a pretty god fight last year I do believe and trust me if Colorado went head hunting for the sedins (who are in great shape by the way) Kariya and Selanne would need to keep their heads up for I wouldn't doubt it that Crawford would send some goons (Langdon and May, who actually can play hockey as an effective third liner) and insure that they wouldn't be skating away.

Thank god for that, I can't even stand you the couple minutes you're on here. You don't even try to diss the Canucks with facts or opinions, you just throw out childish insults, it's rather sad. If you're gonna be a troll atleast have something interesting or factual to say, otherwise do yourself a favor and take you're trash talk to Canucks.com.
