I wouldn't click on anything Jimmy Fallon related with a ten foot pole, but my FB newsfeed is making it awfully difficult.

I finally got out of bed at 5:30 this morning to get some more water and then tried to eat toast. There wasn't even enough saliva in my mouth to chew one bite of the toast, but once I got it down I had to sprint to the bathroom to kneel to the porcelain throne. After that I got some water and managed to pass out until 11 just now.

I just weighed myself and did the math -- I'm 5% lighter than 24 hours ago.
My roommate went through a similar episode last weekend. I've never caught food poisoning specifically, but I have had some brutal experiences. All you can do is hope it ends.

Americans can't go to Cuba

Well, I guess I could just travel to Mexico and go from there, but that would involve going to Mexico.

All I know is that the cigars live up to the hype.

Not from the US, I don't think we could at all before, but it's lightened up a bit over the past decade. I know Americans who have gone to Cuba after going to another country first, though.

That stupid embargo has to go away. I want another Cuban cigar.

I am pretty sure he's Swedish. To him, a Swedish chick is just a chick.

But, it is still cool to me, man

I met the sexiest German girl on metro yesterday. DC is a pretty great place to be a single guy.

Big, did you watch True Detective? I would be curious for your "I am a TV writer" take.

I don't have HBO, but it's something I desperately need to see. All of my writer friends were frothing at the mouth about that one, in a good way.

Final chapter of the Bioshock saga comes out today. Probably can't play it till the weekend but it seems to be getting better reviews than Episode 1.

I respect that you don't torrent or stream things online. I assume it is out of respect to your career arc.

Indeed. That's one place where I just can't justify being a hypocrite.

One of these days I'll bite the bullet and just get HBO. There's so much dead time, but it's not like their DVD/BluRays drop in price quickly...the box set of Six Feet Under only dropped into my price range in December.

I just wish HBO would sell access to HBOGO for a monthly subscription, that would make it a hell of a lot easier to watch their shows. I don't even have regular cable so there is no way I can get HBO.

HBO execs have gone on record as sayin they don't mind people sharing HBOGO passwords. So if you have a friend with it, you can borrow without feeling shame!
