Pending trade call, sounds like BUF sends Brayden McNabb and two 2nd round picks to LA for two prospects - one of them Hudson Fasching.
McKenzie's latest.

Alt could slide in? are you sure? I seem to forget him showing he can handle NHL minutes, let alone playoff minutes, at this point in his career

I don't think there's a rule against it as long as you're under the cap.

I'm agreeing with you, with all these players we could be in cap hell again and not be able to call anyone up ?

Not in favor of Buff at all.
He is the type of player who sometimes gets into a funk.
I would rather take my chances with a Yandle, Edler or Ehrhoff first.

in a pinch? sure he could slide in.
long term? maybe not.
so maybe we should trade more picks for another defenseman.
maybe we can give up that overrated worthless 2nd rounder in 14 for Gonchar.

they probably didnt know Price was going to be out longer

plus they got him for "future considerations"...meaning it's for most likely nothing and saved the $10,000 of whatever it is to claim him from waivers

why do things elevate so quickly with people here?

I say Alt probably can't handle the load, then all of a sudden you're assuming I think we should trade for 40 year old defenseman

Buffalo paid a pretty steep price for a decent prospect. Then again, their plan really is to be as bad as possible next year, so this helps with that at least.

You've overrating McNabb and the two 2nds, I think.

BUF got the highest-ceiling player in the deal. They have picks to burn and McNabb was pretty much never going to see the ice once this rebuild runs its course.
