And I'll counter that with BRUTAL trade. Giving up Hudson Fasching will prove to be a terrible deal. 6'3 214 lb RW 2 way power forward for McNabb? puhlease.

Enjoy your D Man Manch. Hope his knee holds up.

McNabb isn't an NHL defenseman. If he was would my he be playing in Buffalo? He's 23 and we suck.

Oof. Buffalo sold the farm for this kid.

Fasching better turn out to be a great top 6 forward. We brought in GMTM to know prospects. If he's wrong on this, a very bad start to his tenure.

Don't like giving up Fasching, he's gonna be a good one. But I can't really complain with the 2 2nds and I think McNabb is going to be alright (I hope).

Not bad turning a 2013 4th into two 2nds a few months later.

McNabb still has a lot of promise, but he's been stepped over by our glut of defense prospects. I like the deal, so long as we aren't given up two of our own 2nd round picks.

Interesting move. Seems a little step for Fasching. Thought Buffalo would rather keep the 2 ends for the rebuild

Yup.

The deal is two second rounders for Faching and Deslaurier. McNabb would toil in Rochester until he eventually left for nothing. His window to play for buffalo has come and gone.

Seems like a lot for a 4th rounder from last draft and a guy who's never touched NHL ice.

Seems like a fair deal, McNabb isnt a top pairing guy and likely not a top 4 guy on a contender. We reset the clock on developing 2 guys but dont have to wait like we would for those 2 2nds we havent even picked yet. Good hockey trade

The Kings are probably the best second round drafting team in the league. Very happy with those picks.

Not every RW we have is going to play for us, we are heavily log jammed on the right side. You would hope the guy is worth two 2nd round picks one day... That's great value for those prospects, you couldn't have asked for more. It's a good deal for Buffalo too, and their rebuild, but LA did get great value. It is a good hockey trade.

He'll be a RW in your top 6 within 3 years.

Fasching is 18... Guys drafted this year might be older than him.

Let's not pretend McNabb ever had a chance to play in Buffalo.... The guy is pretty much a bust. If anyone is a throw in its McNabb.
And just last week he was one of the Sabre's great young d-men. Funny how predictable some are

Fasching is only 18 years old, definitely can be a part of the rebuild.

He'd be late 1st rounder if the draft was re-done today. His stock has risen a ton.

If LA is moving a D for a scoring forward, McNabb should have the ability to step in. McNabb is a great prospect... but Buffalo is damn deep on the blueline.

He was part of this group: Pysyk, Risto, Zadorov, and McCabe. He couldn't hold any of their jockstraps.

The 2 2nd's sting, but I have faith that Murray knows what he is doing.

You're gonna have to show me that post...I thought McNabb was gonna be good. He's a huge disappointment.
