Line Combinations with Gaborik in the mix

I'm curious to see how Gaborik fits in to the line combos. What do you guys think?

Toffoli-Kopitar-Gaborik

Too many options now.

From what I've read Gaborik can't and won't play LW.

Gaborik like many European trained players is much better on his off-wing.

He will be on either Kopitar or Richards right wing, and go from there slotting the lines.

Gaborik's a natural RW I believe:

Toffoli-Kopi-Gabby
King-Richards-Carter
Brown-Stoll-Williams

3 solid lines imo.

edit: if Gabby prefer to play LW, then just flip TT and Gabby.

Gaborik broke his collar bone this year. At least he hasn't broke that one before... I think?

I'll be realistic and say:

Pearson-Richards-Carter
King-Brown-Gaborik
Clifford-Kopitar-Williams

Yes, the team is still lightweight on natural LWs.

Rangers winger Gaborik switches to left side

Quote:
Gaborik, a left-hand shot, has played the left side for Slovakia in the Olympics.

I like shooting from the left side, Gaborik said. I feel very comfortable with my shot from [the left wing circle], so that could be an advantage.

Also, if Im playing with Step [Derek Stepan], its good that his first instinct as a right-hander is to move the puck on his forehand to the left side.

This is my thoughts. But it does provide us with all types of possibilities.

Love it. Plus a 20 plus game audition for DL that only cost a healthy scratch and 2nd rounder

Toffoli-Richards-Carter
Brown-Stoll-Williams
Clifford-Lewis-Nolan

Pearson

or if Gabby will play left wing

Toffoli-Kopitar-Williams
Gabby-Richards-Carter
King-Stoll-Brown
Clifford-Lewis-Nolan

Pearson still the odd man out, but can be switched in as needed.

If Gabby prefers to play LW, then it's even better as you can slide TT over to the RW and Brownie to LW and we're gold!

I go with:
King - Kopitar - Gaborik
Toffoli - Richards - Carter
Brown - Stoll - Williams
three fourth liners here

King and Kopi make lots of room for Gabby...the other two lines are proven chemistry.

I also reserve the right to claim that if there's some sort of strange Carter at C, Gaborik at RW thing that happens, I thought of that too.
