Lame Day Thread: 9 Mar 2014 - Blues @ Wild - 7PM - FSN

Wild **** the bed and collapse in a critical game against a team we all despise, and now we get to bounce back against the best team in hockey...Here comes the annual March collapse, folks!

Game last night just left a terrible taste. Hope they somehow find a way to respond tonight.

Boys gotta play their best tonight. Tough matchup and new goalie(probably) in net. I'm taking the Wild tonight 3-2, Parise, Brodin, Moulson

I'm confident. Wild will win 6-1 and Blues don't even know what hit them.

I actually feel good about this game. Lately after bad losses the Wild have bounced back the next game pretty well.

Wild win 3-2

Need to score first or this game will not only be a snoozer but a Wild loss (unless they really get it together).

Hope they can do the business after last night.

At least it's a home game. 2-1 OT Blues.

well the wild didn't really collapse and crap the bed. we played catch-up and started outplaying them then were called for a bs major and then one individual crapped the bed.
this is in a building where we have won one game in how many years? not sure there's much to feel bad about the way the team played.

anyway...this is StL. so...3-1 with an empty netter.

So since this is against the Blues and I'm doing a very photoshop-heavy GDT with them at the end of the year, I figured I'd post a sneak peak at the theme. Anybody have an idea as to what it is?

Please no Ballard tonight. He started off the season ok, but now he he easily our worst defenseman. Also would like to see Brodin and Spurgeon flip flopped.

It will be interesting to see how the team plays in front of Bryzgalov. They didn't seem to play that well for Backstrom early this year. We'll see how much confidence they have in the guy

People still think that whoever is between the pipes actually effects how the team will play?

No player would actually think that way.

Actually it can affect how a team plays. Some players will try to do too much if they don't trust the goalie.

Let's go Wild! Let's go Bryz! Not a happy outcome to last nights game so let's hope for a much better finish for us tonight. Wild win 3-2.

Big deal. Everyone calls us boring. It's practically a league wide obligation when we play anyone that their fan base calls us boring.

Actually many player think that way. When you have a lot of trust on your goalie, you can sometimes let him take some when you are focusin more a offensive side.
