Typical Wings move. Wondering what the cost was.

Sportsnet was reporting this well before tsn. I've been flipping between the 2 and it seems like sportsnet has been breaking most of the deals first for once. The only things I can remember them being behind on is the Kesler no deal, and the Berra trade.

They reported the moulson, vanek, legwand deals first

Prediction: 3rd, 5th, AHL contract. NTC made it hard to get much for Legwand.

Not sad at all as a Pred it's time for some serious changes in Nashville. Good luck to Leggy in Detroit

There goes the original Nashville Predator. I think he was the first draft pick in the franchise's history. At least he was traded out of the conference

No on all those, maybe Frk and a sixth. Most likely third and fifth for Legs.

I was ready to give up Legwand and Ellis for an NHL ready winger.
Let's see what the return for this is....

It's amazing how stacked Detroit is in theory, but how ugly our center depth is due to injuries. This is huge with all 4 of our top centers out, and likely Helm/Zetterberg out long term.

Helm and none of those prospects were traded lol. If so Yzerman can start packing his bags now

Did you not pay attention to what rentals have been going for today? I highly doubt you get anyone on that list.

Legwand with more points than Kesler, roughly same defense prowess. Great move for Detroit. You'd have to imagine if Legwand was younger he would have had a huge bidding war.

Again, not saying we'll get one of them, just hoping. I never would have guessed we'd get Forsberg, but prices have been awfully low.

Good pick up for Detroit. Nashville needed to resign him or trade him. I hope he comes back in the offseason. Good luck leggy!

Very sad to see Leggy go, but I'm happy that he's going to his hometown team. I'd be singing a very different tune if Detroit was still in the Central.

Can't believe this isn't getting much traction, end of an era in NSH

After seeing the Vanek return, I'll take just about anything. Almost wish we had just kept him over getting what is likely nothing back.
