As much as I love Minnesota, this is where they picked for this trip? I guess they can all go Christmas shopping at the Mall of America.

The best thing about the impending return of Pacioretty is that Bournival is still hot. Both facts put together, it opens A LOT of options for MT.

It wouldn't be so puzzling to me if they spent a couple days there because there's a lot of fishing / hunting opportunities in Minnesota, traditional father / son activities. Not sure they have the time to do that now though.

Same thing with Parros, as badly as i want him in the line-up, there's no reason to play him if he can't take a punch or 2.
Umm...hence why they said he could be back by this weekend...

According to Emelin, he should be ready in a couple weeks, his guess bieng mid november. Great news! Murray and Emelin will provide some serious muscle for us.

I'm hoping once Emelin comes back he will be put on the PP. He has a good shot and as proven in the KHL he can really rip it. In no way should Frankie be on the PP over Emelin

Good news about Parros. Great news about Patches. The fact that Emelin is practicing with the team now is also great news. He should be back before Dec. 1.

I guess Patches moves back onto the line with DD and Bourque. The other two lines seem pretty set right now.

HA! Yeah right.

Emelin should have been on the PP a LONG time ago and he just never seems to get the opportunity.

Pacioretty be boost for our offense. Teams won't be able to focus on the EGG line as much now. They've been basically neutralized since Max went down.

When does an organization puts a player on IR and when they don't?

Bournival - Plek - Gionta?
Pax - Eller - Leblanc?
Bourque - Gal - Gal?
DD - White - Parros?

Semi-OT, but Parros is going Stacheless because he's having a movember faceoff against Andy Williams, guitarist for Every Time I Die, someone who's got even more amazing facial hair.

100% agree. If i see either bouillon or gorges ahead of him, i'll puke. Emelin is better at everything offensively, but apparently the coaching staff preferred him on the PK instead. Hope that changes.

Emelin isn't a bad puckhandler, but he is on par with Bouillon at best.

I'd rather have him play more in a shutdown/PK role and kock guys on their ass.

I certainly agree with this. Although Emelin does seem to have a knack
for holding the puck in the zone.
The people that want him on the powerplay probably remember him in
the WJC, where he had some success. I think he had wildly erratic offensive
years in the KHL. I'd be surprised if he was used on the PP in most of them.
