Getting Prust, Emelin and Moen back will make this team much better. Here's hoping Galchenyuk excels at center right away!

The question becomes who to sit out when emelin is back. It's either Murray or bouillon but I guess it also depends on the type of opposition.

And do you throw emelin right into the top 4, or do you ease him in? After all, it is probable that he will struggle for a bunch of games before things start getting better

I have a hard time believing he will be thrown in the top 4, it seems the coaching staff really trusts Diaz. Chances are Emelin start on the bottom pairing and works his way up.

The question is also who would be sent down if we have a full healthy lineup and the 4 injured players are back? We'd then have 24 players in the roster (not counting Leblanc and st pierre cuz we know they will be sent down). I know you will all be saying DD should be demoted buy it won't happen. So what would they do? Trade? Send Bournival down?

I'd argue Murray would sit, because Boullion has better mobility and it wouldn't exactly count as easing Emelin in if he has to race around covering for Crankshaft.

Bournival is not being sent down, period.

With a full line-up, we'll rapidly realize tha DD+Briere is a waste of 7.5M in cap space and nothing else.

I was in 'wait and see' mode for DD, coz a relatively young player can usually bounce back. But now it's just embarassing. The worst thing in his case is that it doesn't seem to be laziness. He tries really hard but can't create anything.

I think Diaz got the top 4 spot more by default. There is nobody on the depth chart below Diaz that is going to compete for a top 4 spot. I'm not going to say that Diaz has been terrible, because that would be wrong, but he is more suited to be a 3rd pairing guy. He's kinda like our version of hjalmarsson.

Wow the thoughts of that get me excited so much.

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Brière - Eller - Bourque
Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Prust - Leblanc - Moen

Markov - Subban
Emelin - Diaz
Gorges - Bouillon

He's probably still a couple of weeks away, but I hope to see:

Markov-Subban
Gorges-Emelin
Murray-Diaz
Boullion

He played mostly on his offside last season (with Markov).

Are you kidding me

Emelin has played RD with Markov all of last year and weve talked about how he's better on the left side.

Anyone else find it weird that our staple 4th liners are all one syllable names? Moen, White and Prust..

Probably Subban the way they manage the club. It has to be Bouillon for Christ sake.

Which side do you think is his "off" side? When he spent all of last year beside Markov, Gorges, and Bouillon, which side was he playing?

He was, after all, the next defenseman behind Emelin on the right side...
