It is pretty disappointing to lose Price because of the Olympics.

BUT.. I'd risk losing Price for a couple of games if it means he actively participates and helps win a gold medal for Canada. The Jonathan Tavares injury is FAR worse than this. Price is just missing a couple of games in a VERY heavy season. This is almost a blessing in disguise has he will be refreshed heading into the last stretch of games.

Just waiting to see that Tokarski is sent down so we know Price is back. Maybe today? Please?

If the team didn't rely on Price to win games night in and night out, his loss would not be as big IMO. We're at the level where even an average game from Price = loss. Shouldn't be that way.

Take the best player off any team and they'll feel it...not exactly a huge revelation.

It will probably take Price a few games to get back on the ball, so I really am worried that we won't make the playoffs. Losing Gorges has also destabilized our D. It would suck if we traded our 2nd and a prospect for Vanek, and then miss the playoffs.

Word is, he has tendinitis. That's what Michael Farber is reporting.

Bournival back in a regular contact jersey at practice, he was playing great the last few games before he got hurt so hopefully he can pick up where he left off.

Price practiced for the entire practice today. I bet we'll see him against Ottawa and then Budaj against Buffalo

If we miss the POs, we don't lose our 2nd.

God damn that boy has no luck. I love that White is playing, but Prust was quite sharp last game.

It is becoming clear that Prust will never be able to play a full season anymore, his shoulders are done.

As much as I like Prust, I wish I had a buck for every time he hurt himself slamming into the boards.

Anyway I hope it's nothing serious, I'd rather have him at 100% (or however close Prust ever gets to 100%) for the playoffs.

I don't think it's a matter of luck with Prust. I believe his shoulders are shot.

We can't count on him for a full 82 + playoffs. He's injury prone from now on.

Swing and a miss. I'll stick to cheering and buying overpriced beers at various sports bars in the Montreal area.

Prust is a very physical player. It's expected that he will get injured more often. As for his shoulders. Is this something that can be fixed with surgery in the off season?

Prust is actually getting tired of people asking him about his shoulder, repeating that "it's not my shoulder" but remaining quiet on what is really ailing him. My guess is ribs. Supposedly his issues are "kind of scary".

well he did have a punctured lung in the playoffs last year did he not? Maybe he should just call it a season. We have a few guys who can fill in for him for now. May as well let them get on a roll while he recovers.

I think that was Ryan White that had a punctured lung last year...
