That's a big loss if he isn't back for the 2nd round. With having the division all but wrapped up, the Blues should get a favorable matchup in the 1st round.

Good chance they'd get Dallas, I'd hate to draw them in the first round. Some elite offensive talent, a goaltender that can steal games, and an idiot like Russeau taking runs at people

Nice to see Dallas and Winnipeg keeping each other out of the playoffs. Seguin is turning into a stud. Broke his single season goal record last night i believe. He's always had tons of talent but i don't think he was ever going to put up great numbers in Boston.

I cannot believe just how much the Sharks have come on of late. I am used to them always being a contender, but they look legit even after all the moves they have made these past few seasons.

Not sure if they have enough to get them to the Western Conference finals, but they are pretty balanced overall and have 2 solid goaltenders as Stalock has out played Niemi this year.

Sharks are going to be tough - lets see them live up to it for once.

Fully expecting them to be the team that comes out of the Pacific.

I'd gladly take a series against Dallas over Colorado. And if anyone can matchup with a team taking runs at guys, it is the Blues.

The Hawks have been a bad matchup for the Sharks. If the Hawks and Sharks are in the Conference Finals, I'd be pretty happy with that matchup.

Couture came back after the Olympics and they have been on fire ever since.

I think the Hawks/Blues/Kings/Ducks/Sharks are all about as good as each other to be honest. Predicting anything in the playoffs will be difficult

Pretty sure the Red Wings in 08-09 had the highest point total a year after winning the Cup with 112 points. The Hawks are on pace to get 111 points right now. We're doomed.

The Cup hangover is real, no doubt about it. Its an excuse, sure, but that doesn't make it any less real.

This team has it worse than any previous team ever has, too.

Shortened 48gm season, playoffs went to almost July, training camp in September, another condensed schedule, 10 guys in the Olympics, even more condensed schedule after the Olympics. If they have another deep run, next year they will be wearing down again.

If we don't win the Cup this year, I sure hope they lose in the first two rounds so they have lots of time to recoup for next year.

If Country Club Q doesn't catch on, maybe some kind of playoff avy around this?

1) 2013 - Peaked too early
2) Pic of player w/ Cup
3) 2014 - Wearing down
4) ??

Also, when can we stop pretending we're as good as the Avs.

We can stop pretending as soon as we're as good as/better than the Coyotes.

...so never

Blues up 1-0 after 2. They need to quit with the winning already.

Nucks with a valiant effort but they lose another one. Their playoff chances will be over soon.

As far as the Blues go, let them have the division and the conference so when they get bounced in the second round it'll be all the more sweeter.
